I don't think Sankey and the SEC will ever sign off on Freeze for any position in conference. Hell, they wouldn't even let Saban sign him to an analyst position and serve a rehab stint.

I’ve heard that rumor before. My argument to that is sometimes managers/CEO’s have to put up with guys they don’t love.....especially if that guy moves the needle.
Freeze scores on bama. He’s proven that at ole miss. Beat bama twice. At ole miss. Ole miss plays with much less talent than we do.

Hugh Freeze beat Saban twice. In 2014 & 2015. Almost beat them in 2016 (48-43).

Only way H. Freeze coaches in the SEC as an OC is if he is the OC at Alabama

He brought that offense out of the dark ages. Your assessment is flat out wrong. Saban has had a top 10 offense 3 years while at Bama. Two of those were under Kiffin and the third being this year. But yea, he really sucked as OC.
You know when the last time LSU had a top 10 offense was? 2007. But yea, let's not bring in a young offensive mind. Let's keep doing what we've been doing for the last decade. Having a 100+ ranked offense is definitely what we need.

Bama gets new coordinators nearly every year. They seem to be doing ok. This year they replaced BOTH OC and DC
