On the last touchdown drive did anyone notice where the officials marked the ball after Durel caught the ball at the 25?

It was marked near the 30 so if it was marked correctly the ball should have been place at the 10 after the 15 yard penalty was added on.

They marked him at the 26. Penalty made it half the distance to the goal. Next play was at the 13.

He said 15 yards, but it was actually half the distance.

Since the ball was on the 26, and it's a 15 yard penalty, why would 1/2 the distance apply in that instance? I thought 1/2 the distance was only used when the full penalty could not be applied?

But why was it half the distance to the goal? Wasn't it a 15 yard penalty?

Its whichever is a shorter penalty. Pretty much anything from the 29 in is half the distance where from the 30 out its a 15 yard penalty.
