did you have familiar faces in your section as event staff or did you have a bus in person from new Orleans. I didn't see my regular folks around my portals. the new Orleans people didn't know crap about tiger stadium. who ever decided to make a change really blew this one. i finally saw someone i knew after the game and he said these people were a joke and he doesn't know if he will be back

The person scanning my ticket didn't seem any different than previous years. If you've gone enough to have "regular folks" that you apparently know, then what did you need to ask these new folks that they didn't know the answer to?

Better than the rude people I've dealt with in the past.

Even got a thank you when leaving the stadium

We didn't even have anyone at our portal Saturday. I will say that the new security agency handling the parking was a clown show. They just disappeared at about 1pm and anyone could get inside the guard shacks. Wasn't a big deal for JSU but will be a shite show for SEC games.

They didn't pat the student section down. I predict VAST increases in the amount of in game liquor this season.

I went into the stadium right before kickoff (the actual kickoff, not the scheduled kickoff) and I had to ask the lady at the gate to scan my ticket. While there weren't a ton of people coming in at that time, there were still more than just 1 or two, and she wasn't paying attention at all. I could have walked right in without a ticket had I chose to do so.

Unfortunately, my attempt to follow the rules screwed my friends. The rest of the people I sit with either decided to forego the game or bail before the postponed kickoff. As a result, I invited a couple of friends who have tickets in the south endzone to come sit in the open seats next to me on the East. The ticket taker wouldn't let them in because their tickets required them to enter at a different game. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't recall being required to enter at a certain gate in the past (It was always more of a suggestion than a requirement, IIRC) I know I have entered in different gates before and been able to walk to my same seats with no issue. Of course, the south EZ and East have a barrier, so maybe that was the issue. In any even, they would have been better off just walking right past the careless ticket-taker who wasn't even paying attention at first.

Security supervisor lady with a clipboard came right up to me and my son with a concerned look on her face. I immediately thought I was in trouble.

She said she missed what just happened in the game and why did LSU only get six points?

Anybody get in with a personal stadium seat and if so did they have a tape measure handy to make sure the width was under 16"?

Security shut down our parking area when there were still plenty of spaces left. They would not let a friend into the parking area until we told security about the empty spaces. They let them in after some persuasive bitching.

Also, the security guy guarding the blockade near our tailgate joined in our drinking by downing a beer and taking shots from the bottle.

Give them a break, LSU is saving eight cents per game by the switch. That's almost sixty cents per year.

What the hell are you talking about? I was standing right there and they were indeed patting the student section down.
