Yes, miles and his cupcakes....... with his record streak of consecutive OOC wins.....
When you're a top 5 team 100 teams are a cupcake to you.

We lost 3 games by 13 points. The ball didn't bounce our way. We also lost 8 starters during the year.

It's not odd when they are ready to go in the first few rounds. Several of them just had a kid or have one on the way Put yourself in there shoes. And it's 8 loston has not declared

Even without Loston that's 6 underclassmen just on defense

Jesus Christ never thought I'd see the day when people would use the fact that we have close to 10 NFL ready JUNIORS on ONE side of the ball as a knock on our coach.

Welcome to The Rant.

And no, not all of them are first round Pro Bowl superstars. Most of them will be third day guys that were very good obviously but still had lots of room to improve.

That said, with the new NFL Draft salary scale I can't say any of them are making a bad decision.

Get to the league quicker and get to the real money in your second contract.

That's the future unfortunately.

I wish them all the best of luck. Had a great time watching them and hope they all have great success on Sundays

Here’s my point. All this shite with 10 win season is a big lie. Miles gets way-too-much-credit for all the CupCake wins.

You can say this about any coach or team in America.

Not too mention, over the years LSU has played some of the most difficult schedules for a major program. How can you bag on the level of competition a year removed from the gauntlet we ran last year.

There's your problem some aren't ready. Loston and Simon and logan are not ready. Reid had a very bad year.

New CBA gives 2nd and 3rd rounders no reason to come back. The enormous guarantees are done with the slotting.

The sooner these kids can get the clock started on their second contract the better. They have on avg. 5 years to make money in the nfl. No reason to waste another year in college.

10 players leaving early for nfl is unheard of. Why people aren't more alarmed about this is weird to say least.

What should we be alarmed about?

Loston hasn't declared.
Simon had external issues to deal with.
Disagree on Logan being ready
Reid had a better statistical year this year than last and is an elite talent. Most knew he was gone before the year started.

He wont have the great defensive players to pull his arse out like they have for 2 years.

You need to go take a look at the guys behind the guys you've been watching since they were freshman. Look at their accomplishments and tell me he won't have great defensive players. Also, look at the incoming players. Suppose we get the number 1 player in the nation and Priest Willis. Will you still feel the same way?

Your point is shite. LSU has one of the toughest schedules year in and year out.

If there is no reason for juniors to come back, why are juniors on other teams staying?

There's a ton of underclassmen declaring, just so happens LSU has a larger number of NFL caliber juniors.

It's just the anti miles people tring to bitch and complain. Simon and Reid having average years MAKES NO differerance. The NFL always needs corners and safeties. The are both prototypical size DB so the will be drafted both have reasons for wanting $$$$. It has nothing to do with the coaches. It's about there future.

None are real surprises.

Really worry about the defense next year. They wore down last year, and with this many underclassmen coming out, experience and depth could be an issue.

The defense I think will over all be fine. U do think there will be a few growing pains. But if they gel could
Be one if the best defenses at lsu in years to come. Alot of talented players. Experience is a concern but once it come together they will be nasty to deal with and tons of speed

We were 1 fricking drive away from playing in the SEC championship game. From listening to fans you would think we underachieved as bad as USCw did this year. Maybe people need to be asking if it is feasable to meet the expectations we have every season. Everyone should have known with a good year, which we still had, that a lot of players were going to leavr early. The only big surprise is Wing, who is the #1 prospect at his position and in trouble with the school.
