Vanderbilt is not a bad team. If our defense plays as poorly as it did versus Washington, I fully expect Vanderbilt to remain competitive well into the second half. I'm still skeptical of our defense, and I will remain skeptical until they play well for an entire game, which they did only a couple of times last year.

I'm always nervous trying to sneak in enough Crown to last 3 hours and since it's the first home game of the year, my technique is rusty.

Coach Mac always used to say that the first five minutes set the tone of the half. Ask me that question after we have had a series on defense and offense in the first quarter.

Im fine. The thought is way in the back of my mind as it is every saturday cause you never know what to expect. Just cause all the gumps and gators are screaming possible upset doesnt faze me at all. It will only make us look better when we win by about 3 TDs. Larry Smith is no where near the QB locker is.
