To me its up to Mett and Mett only.

we could expect dramatic improvement, given that mett has had a whole year of facing SEC speed defense and the fact that he improved. Add in better line play, better receiver play, all of which we can expect, and hopefully, better play calling - could be a great team.

You can't really make Mett quick on his feet, that't not natural to him. What can be improved is his pocket presence and ability to sense the pressure from his blind side. He needs to work on that timer in his head and find his 2nd option quick.
To answer your question, I think there will be a huge improvement in Mett.

Give Mett some time and a pocket, he will be a very good quarterback in our system. 2013 is gonna be a good year for LSU Football.

Chances are, he was already going to have a better season since he has a full season under his belt. Isn't 1st to 2nd year always the biggest improvement?
Add CC into the mix and good things ahead.

I think the competition for the starting QB opened up somewhat with Cam coming in. Mett may hold the edge, but he'll have to work harder to hold on than he would have had nothing changed on the OC front. I'm hoping Rivers gives him some stiff competition and may the best QB win.

I don't think Mett is the starter anymore. New play book; they all are in need of improving some aspect of their game. CC can provide that. So, this is any mans race, the way it should be.

I think Mett will be better on his own. Hopefully we can scheme around his slowness.

I don't think that Rivers starts against TCU, but I expect to see him get on the field more this year. Hopefully Cam runs it up against UAB and Kent State instead of playing nicey nice CLM ball so the backups can get some time and the starting O-Line gets some rest.
