I hate his attitude and the bad juju that surrounds the man. I am one who is VERY glad he is gone and would not want him back for any reason. I also feel that he is on a down slope in his career....you can see it in his frownie little face.
Les is much more representative of Louisiana and who we are as a culture. He is fun loving, committed to family and hard working...

God himself could be coaching Alabama and I would still hate them. I'd have to be like "David Putty" and pull for the devils.

felt it until our 2010 win over them. Since then, he's just any other coach to me. Still appreciate what he did for us but Les won me over after that win and in my opinion, surpassed Saban at LS

I didn't care that Saban left. What I did care about was his blatant attempt to make the next coach's job harder by all together stopping to recruit and suggesting we hire Houston Nutt. I will never forgive him for those 2 things. Lsu and the Louisiana talent made Saban one of the highest paid coaches in the nfl so at least keep recruiting until you're gone.

he's just a horrible human being. if you've ever watched feherty on the golf channel, when Saban was the guest it was so prevalent. He's so full of sh*t. I guess a lot of people fall for his bs but I doubt the dude has many friends. too self absorbed. LSU is in a much better place without him.

I thought this thread was about Saban, not Urban.

It would be hard for me to care less about Saban.

But I recognize what he did for this program and how good he has been at Bama.

No jilt but Saban is a jerk. Coaches leave all the time and that is just the nature of the business. However, the way NS left is what I don't appreciate. The way he left LSU and Miami speak volumes to his lack of character.

I can appreciate what he did while here but am so glad we have Les Miles. This is the greatest time of LSU football we've seen and it is only getting better.

It never felt like a jilt, exactly. I wished him the best of luck in the NFL.

Pretty much this. Sure, I didn't like it when he left, but it's not like Saban planned to be the coach at Alabama. He found out the pros are not for him. The Bama coaching job came open, and he got it.

Never felt it. Glad we have Miles instead of Saban. Appreciate what Saban did at LSU as HC and appreciate that he is a great coach, but never disliked him because he left or ended up at Bama.
I dislike him because he's a miserable little prick. Now he's Tigerbait.
I wouldn't trade Les Miles for two Nick Saban's. We are truly living in the golden era of LSU Athletics.
