Hopefully he has performed well, we are blowing them out and Les will let McMillan get some reps. Jennings can help calling the plays in! End of 3rd quarter would b good!

The whole game. Jennings in to take a knee at the end. That's how he normally does it. He feels no need to get the backup reps
Well, in this case, there are 2 things to consider:
1) Jennings has way more snaps under his belt, it's Harris that needs the snaps
2) Jennings got in trouble this spring. He might have been cleared legally, but that doesn't mean Les doesn't have a silent penalty of making him miss x number of games.

This is a scrimmage. Some of u act like Harris doesn't know squat and will need the entire 1 game against McNeese to home his skills. LSU isn't going to show MSU much at all. Harris and the veteran starters will be out of the game as soon as it's decided. Let's hope we see Jennings to start the 2nd half. We will be pretty confident for the Bulldogs if this occurs.

Jennings to start the second half

Well the only way I see this happening is if Harris has done nothing. I am looking at previous seasons I just don't see us blowing anyone out by halftime under les it very seldom happens that way. Sorry. Also your Comments about LSU not showing Moo st much. Hello everyone in the Fricking stadium knows LSU'S plays we just got to get a passing game established to scare anyone for this upcoming season. Geez let's just hand off and throw 10 passes all game. Yep our qb's are ready for SEC play now.

midway through the 4th quarter. there is no substitute for live game snaps and he needs them in spades.

Whatever, stay ignorant. No one said anything about running the ball a major % of the time. In fact I'd say it would be a good bet this doesn't occur. And no one predicted a blow out by half.
The point is this is going to be more of a scrimmage. Like the guy said earlier, similar to a NFL preseason game. The difference here is both coaching staffs understand what's up here. MCNeese hit the lottery and gets to play a game in Tiger stadium. If they act right they may hit it again. I'm not saying Miles will tell other coach that when in a certain set they are going to do this and wants a 8 man front. Or am I saying the other coach tells miles he has a freshman at RT and would appreciate if Adams or the corner didn't blitz on 3rd and long from that side.

Lol. I am not being ignorant at all. You obviously haven't watched how we play the supposed cupcakes on our schedules. We stay in a run formation and pound them old school or lsu style. These preseason games as you call them should be used as such let's see if Harris can hit that 10 yard pass consistently or throw the deep ball. Nope run, run, maybe pass. Secondly for as letting the backups get playing time in these games is almost none existent also but this year maybe different because I think les does like Jennings just as much as he likes Harris.

McNeese does not offer BH the opportunity to get ready for SEC defenses. I think Brandon might be able get experience against.. Our defense. They won't be trying to hone the offense. It'll simply be, put on a "football" game for the first quarter then just run out for the rest of the game and enjoy a good time.

Sorry. Brandon won't be in the game long. He won't have amazing stats. And he'll look pretty vanilla in person. It's all part of the idea.

Wow. Yep and that is exactly why are qb's look the way the do. Look Mcneese st. May not be a SEC defense but it is an opposing team. Let Harris build confidence within himself and among his receivers. You one of those guys that just think they just gonna have that IT when we play Moo st. the following week. Get ready 8 in the box and a steady blitz come Starkville.

Back up needs snaps. Just sayin.

Miles has never seemed to care much about that in the past, so I don't know why he'd change now since AJ has a whole year starting under his belt.

Long term, the best interest of the "Team" would be to throw it on almost every down.

The RB's don't need that much practice as a group. Fournette certainly don't need no practice. Everybody knows what he can do. Give # 7 a series or two, then get him out. Let Williams, Guice, Ducre and Brosette get most of the snaps.

What needs work is the passing game and Brandon Harris needs as much of it as possible. He needs practice throwing the freaking football. He needs work on timing with the WR's/TE's, Defense Recognition and Read Progression and he's not going to get better at those things by handing it off or running it himself the entire game.

Don't need to play it safe and just pound it all night. That will serve no purpose in preparation for the "Big Boys", but LM will probably do just that. Instead of working on what really needs to worked on, he'll probably just play it conservative and run it 90% of the time.

If we can't beat McNeese by manner of "Positively matriculating the ball down the field by pushing it threw the Air" then there's no hope for the SEC.

All those that can see the "Bigger Picture" (Not everybody can or wants to) will be & at the missed opportunity for live passing game practice and we'll be especially when we can't throw the ball effectively against State and Auburn....................

Both coaching staffs have a list of what they want to see. It's preparation for the upcomin game hopefully without injury that's most important. You have no idea which QB Miles prefers. Smh.

Yes we are going to run plays that we've ran before or ran against MSU the last cple of years. It's the execution that matters especially at QB this yr. miles will be looking to make it tough on his team by getting them in bad situations from time to time. He's not as much worried about the completion of the pass in certain sets versus the correct route ran and ball delivered on time to correct receiver. As far as your whining about the play calling in these "cupcake" games, get over it. No one is looking to embarrass anyone here. LSU is preparing as always to win a title. That's how they go about their business. They will run the plays and evaluate their players accordingly in this game to properly prepare for MSU.

This is one of McNeese State's better teams I believe. Also, remember that they almost beat Nebraska last year. I'm not saying that they are any real threat to beat LSU, but they could pose more of a challenge than we believe.

They may do that. And if it's competitive all rules and lists are out the window and it's game on. But as soon as the outcome is clear the agenda is back on for preparing for next week.

PS LSU is not Nebraska, but I hear what you're saying.

You keep pumping your positiger chest big know it coach. And what is miles record in the SEC the last 5 years? I ain't drinking that kool-aid my friend. Your thought process like miles\cameron has done wonders with this offense recently isn't flying any longer. Take 2013 with a once in a lifetime bunch on offense and this show has run its course.

There's nothing wrong with that. Why play your QB when you don't need to? Let the backups get some college snaps to help prepare them. We might actually see Jennings more than Harris which will cause a riot on here.

I just disagree. Since it's our first game and Harris is the new starter, I'd rather he play the vast majority of snaps. We've got two very important games the following two weeks. Give Harris as much time as we can. If he throws for 8 TDs, good. Jennings got enough experience last year.
