With Blakeney and Hornsby doing what they did today, LSU is the best team in the SEC.

They play good D and rebound the ball really well.

I'm worried about us down low. Honestly, I think we lose this one. But that's okay, this is one we can afford to lose. aTm is the big one next week, although both games are pretty big.

Watched South Carolina today they're either hot or cold. Play up and down to their opponents. With LSU at home I expect them to come to play

If Victor and Simmons stay out of foul trouble we have a good shot. If that happens and Blakeny and Hornsby hit shots we win.

All we have to do next week is split @USCe and v.TAMU to be on track IMO.

Winning both games would set LSU up nicely for the SEC regular season title

No telling with Johnny, though unfortunately

Simmons will have a massive advantage vs. Carrera.

Not great. USC is a lot like A&M and UGA in that they want to grind games out on defense and rebounding. That's not LSU's game. That said, if LSU is knocking down shots like they have done over the last couple of games it doesn't matter

Yep. When Victor got into foul trouble against A&M...it was all downhill from there.

USCe's best player is a small forward(Carrera) and their top 7 or 8 is very solid. Pretty much the same team from a year ago; one that displays the toughness of their coach. They will sag in the middle to try and mitigate Simmons and Victor which should allow good shooting lanes for the Tigers' guards. The key for the Tigers is to hit a good percentage of the open 3's they will get and patiently work the ball inside to Ben. The Tigers should be able to rebound well defensively which will initiate the break. USCe can be had in transition with proper execution. Quarterman, Blakeney and Simmons will all likely get their turn matching up with Carrera who who is adept at spot-up 3's, rebound positioning and taking charges. Very winnable game for LSU if they "bring it."

Get off of it. Jones has this team in 1st place at 8-2. These gutless posts about Johnny Jones are getting tiring.

I'm going off facts. LSU has laid inexplicable eggs at mind boggling times, why am I to believe otherwise just yet? Because LSU is on a two game winning streak against two teams that are 9-13?

Because LSU is 8-2 and in 1st place in the SEC. Which mind boggling games do you speak of? The games in which 2 of our best players didn't even play? Or last year when it wasn't even the same damn team.

Fact: We have more road sec wins than road sec losses this season.

You people need to stop using this word.

What mind boggling eggs are you talking about?

LSU is 11-4 since Dec 16th. LSU is 8-3 since 2016. LSU is 8-2 SEC. LSU is 5-0 at home and 3-2 away in SEC. LSU is the only SEC team undefeated at home and a winning road record.

Those are facts.
