Either (a) he chose the starter at QB and called the plays and personnel, or (b) he is letting Miles make those choices and tarnish his (Cameron's) career.

If (a), then Miles is admirably covering for him until he can make a change. If (b) then Cam needs to grow a pair and resign and leave before his rep gets further damage. Either way, I don't see how Cam has no responsibility here.

Because most everyone assumes les just ties cam's hands

I think cam needs to bring it down a notch with his super complex scheme

Think logically about where the blame should be placed...

This would be the third Offensive Coordinator we "ran off" during Les' tenure. All of them came in some what decorated and just flat out suck at LSU all of a sudden? There is one common denominator in all of our struggles boys....

Regardless of the QB, the game plan and play calling was appalling.

That we keep hiring offensive coordinators that have been fired from ALOT of jobs. Seriously, it isn't that hard.

Fisher, was not fired, he is good.

Crowton and Cameron are just football vets, they have never been remarkable at anything, they are just bad hires. That is on Miles.

Crowton at least had some creativity to his scheme. I would take him back today.

Cameron is routinely fired, and the teams that fire him do better historically when he is gone. Hmmmm.

Oh, and Kragthorpe would have been no different. Same mold as the others.

Hell, Stud may have been the best of the bunch

Everyone blames Miles but Cameron is an exact clone of Miles, that's the reason he's here. They are both old school, decrepit fossils who cant and wont adjust to the modern game.

Lets assume for a second that Cameron has no hand in the offense, do you really think he wouldn't say anything publicly about it?

I-Formation, dive left. I-Formation, dive right. Throw to Dural whether he's covered or not. Punt.

I agree...dumb down this system. (And yes, I did appreciate the sarcasm in your post. I thought it was brilliant.)

90% of the folks here act as if Cameron is a savant because he coached in the NFL

He is a journeyman coach, that runs an offense that went out of date shortly around Dan Fouts career ended.

He can do well with SPECTACULAR RECEIVER AND QB PLAY...but it all depends on beating one on one matchups. That is the only reason we had any success last year. This year we cant hide any of our deficiencies and that is what a good OC does.

3rd? Jimbo left to be head coach. We didnt run him off.

We were warned about crowton from oregon fans and it played out exactly how they said it would.

kragthorpe got parkinsons and is still here.

Now we have cam.

So we have run off 1. Stud was never in the search to be oc. It was a move that had to be made due to unforeseen circumstances.

And honestly, cams coryell offense looks nothing like what we ran under crowton. Absolutely nothing.

Miles has a strategy he want implemented, Cameron runs the O

My guess is that Miles and Cam are on the same page and agree that playing it as conservatively as possible gives us the best chance. They have the same philosophy. I think this was established between the two of them before Cam took the job. They are both old school, way old.

Damn man. Crownton's offense broke records and was legit his first year with a 5th year senior. Then people figured him out and he couldn't produce any good QBs.

Cameron did the same thing with a 5th year senior. Came in and broke more records. Now he has 2 young QBs and it isn't going so well. If he does bad next year, I'll say it was a bad hire but Cameron is still a good coach.

and lol. Please tell me how good the Ravens have been since he left? And please, don't count the year he left 2 games before the playoffs started because they still ran his offense which took them to the superbowl.

Cam was fired from Indiana Hoosiers. Lasted 1 year as Dolphins head coach. Won 1 or 2 games. Fired from Ravens. Great hire Miles.

Personally I think the play calling is so shitty because of the QB. I think Jennings is that bad.

He shouldn't. He has done a horrible job at getting our QB ready to be even remotely effective this year.
