I've only known of one who would have to leave the room during the 4th quarter if the game was close. He was always afraid he would die. His doctor said that was a good idea. His last season alive was 2007!

I would think that a prescription for nitroglycerin and a defibrillator would be good things to have. And a friend to operate the defibrillator for you ... but I'm no doctor!

And seriously to me there was a Tiger fan that died after one of the games in 2007 at his home and it had been a close game.

I'm going to be nervous the entire game. I was nervous for the entire Oregon game until late 3rd Qtr and I realized we had em.

I have a feeling this game is gonna send me to the hospital.

I had mine repaired in April of 2008. It is good to go but I still watch how much and what I read. For example, I have learned all I need to know for this week and will not monitor the 'net, ESPN or any other sporting event. I swear, this is close to the SUper Bowl including a week off.

My grandad goes to another room and has my grandma come in and give him periodic updates. He was popping nitros like they were popcorn in 2007.

I had a light heart attack in 1996, quad by pass in 2007! Haven't missed a minute of any game since then and have absolutely no problems. No nitro.....nothing....LOL

Been around LSU athletics since birth in 1954.....Dad was a three sport letterman(BB, baseball and football) he taught me no matter what it is just a game, that's stuck with me since.....I bleed P&G, yet at the end of the day it is a game and I'm still alive.......That being said, I hope we beat the slobberknocker out of Bama and the Gumps!!!

Dont eat high sodium foods and drink the day of the game. (I know that is impossible on game day)

Stay calm, breathe in and out deeply.

Watch the game by yourself with the volume on a normal setting.

Realize it is just a game.

Am I taking this thread too seriously?

I don't care if I die as long as we win. I just updated my will just in case.

I'm by no means a heart patient, but watching LSU sports since I was a little kid has definitely diminished my life span by a few years.

I've been cursed with genetically high blood pressure and a fast pulse.

I'm gonna be eating my blood pressure pills like candy on Saturday.
