I'm sick of losing to these frickers....sick i tell you. Its been too long. Even the 9-6 victory wasn't completely satisfying because we didnt dominate them. I want a good old fashioned arse whipping of epic proportion when we beat them.
I want to be able to brag and gloat for a good long time after this game.
I want to then run the table and win the NC going away.

Is that too much to ask for Santa????

Did Alabama program die after losing to Ole Miss at home? Why should LSU program get hurt by losing to a good team?

Miles absolutely has to get past the 1-9-12 debacle and he has to do it this game

This team has already surpassed expectations IMO. They shouldn't be expected to win this game.

I will only be disappointed with Miles if he screws it up as bad as that NC game. Simply losing because they are a better team (if they are) is not a big deal.

I don't see how the outcome of this game determines Fournette's Heisman chances. If HE has a horrible game then maybe but it would be the very first bad game he had all year long, most Heisman winners had a game or two that was sub-par for them. Fournette is not the entire team, he doesn't need to be on a NC winning team to win the award and I would venture to guess that most Heisman winners were not on a NC team.

Eh. I think it's critical. People on here can dismiss it as critical because they've already assumed we've lost. This is the first time since 1/9 to knock Alabama out of the SEC race. They've been in it every year. We haven't. While they have had continued success, they're teams have been digressing in recent years while ours is on a huge upswing. Couple this with our potential #1 class to dethrone who? Alabama from I believe 5 straight years with #1.

This game is critical to dethrone a dynasty and start ours. But it's not just the game, it's the season as a whole.

We HAVE to beat Bama and win the SEC at least once during the next two years.

definitely would be a big milestone in the 1/19/12 recovery process.

As do I, but...

That simply isn't true. If Bama loses this year, they are royally fricked next year because the 2016 squad is going to be incredible. Additionally, a loss this year likely puts them at 3rd in the SEC West when the dust settles. Lastly, an LSU win puts us well on our way to a CFB Playoff appearance, and that is major validation for the handwork the players have been putting in since 2014 and for the hard work our staff has put in on the recruiting trail.

Our recruiting classes have been building for this, and our success this year is probably a year early in my opinion. A win this year is lagniappe, and a loss doesn't disrupt the direction of this program.

Outside of a blowout loss, next weekend's game will do nothing to stop the fact that LSU is a program on the rise.

Doesn't mean much unless LSU completely shits the bed like on 1-9-12.

If LSU loses it will be five in a row to Bama. We can't let it be five losses to Bama in a row, especially when we are this good. It would be demoralizing. Not season-ending demoralizing, but definitely would assert Bama as our superior no doubt.
