They are on their 3rd strong QB and still have good quarterback play

Cardale Jones (3rd string QB) season stats

10/17(58.8%), 118 yds, 2 TD (Kent St, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan)

That sample size is small to be saying he is good.

when you let Jimbo walk, hold back Crowton (go read the interview after he left), put Stud, an incompetent, in charge of your offense and either hold back Cameron

Jimbo wasn't that great here. He was good, but many LSU fans weren't sold on him as OC.

If Crowton stunk b/c CLM held him back, then what is his excuse at all the other jobs he's had and been fired from?

Stud was OC because of the unfortunate diagnosis to Kragthorpe. It was a emergency decision because of the timing and then we went on to beat the hell out of everyone sans Bama, so you couldn't fire him after that.

We saw what Cameron's offense can do last year. Harris just needs to earn the coaches' trust and we will start to see it open up again.

OFWHAP-Colt McCoy was recruited by Saban, McCoy was not going to Texas when Ryan P was committed. Ryan P made it perfectly clear he WAS NOT going to play for Saban. The minute Saban bolted, Ryan P opened up and he was the First player Les visited.

Colt McCoy was all set to come to LSU UNTIL Ryan P. switched his committment to the Tigers. There was NO WAY Texas was gonna sign BOTH Ryan P and Colt McCoy in the same class. That is a FACT.

Playing against ranked teams in their entire conference. They must be so proud of being good at defense against non ranked teams.

The problem is LSU doesn't have a system under Les Miles. They have some fuzzy philosophy about ball control, grinding it out, passing when necessary and keeping the game close so they can win in the 4th.

Other teams have a system where they recruit players specifically for their offensive scheme. Miles recruits stud and tries to make this fuzzy philosophy work with QB's better suited for something else.

If this were anywhere near the truth then how the hell does Miles continue to be able to recruit top notch talent at every offensive position. Guess those players with their entire football careers at stake and having 59 other coaches telling them the same thing yet still picking LSU aren't as smart as your dumbass non fact based opinion.
