In the game and they perform? They are on their 3rd strong QB and still have good quarterback play and somehow we can't have 1 qb, aside from mett, in miles reign? Tired of qb issues at LSU.

Because we don't know how to develop QB's. Pretty simple.

Jamies Winston would have sucked arse here. Dak Prescott would have been a fullback. Cam Newton wouldn't have started over JJ.

Unfortunately it's difficult to disagree with this.

Urban could turn me into a serviceable QB. He's that great of a coach.

We develop them fine. We don't trust them to go get it. If you want a QB to win a game you have to be prepared for them to lose it too, Les manages the QB position differently, agree or disagree it is what it is

i don't remember their 3rd string guy doing anything.
Maybe see how he plays before making this thread.

Because they are playing against Big 10 defenses.

What makes it worse is that LSU doesn't develop players at any other position.

It is a combination of things IMO...Urban has a system that the QBs he has fit into quite well. You think Tebow would have won a Heisman if he played here? Neither Braxton Miller, nor Barrett would be as successful here because the system just doesn't suit them.

Meyer is also just one hell of a coach.

I think you are exactly right. When you throw the ball according to Les more bad things can happen than good. Les waits to throw when it's absolutely obvious and crucial to complete the ball. This places the QB under way to much pressure.

Nope - because Urban is competent with running an offense and QB development.
Every one of our recruits had some talent but when you let Jimbo walk, hold back Crowton (go read the interview after he left), put Stud, an incompetent, in charge of your offense and either hold back Cameron (or made another bad hire like Stud), you have a crappy offense.
Imagine 4 OCs in 10 years - seems to be a pattern with Miles and this offensive QB play.
Really - about time for the excuses to stop.

True, but wasn't Flynn originally recruited by Sabans staff? Aside from a good JUCO pick-up Mett, I don't think our staff knows how to really evaluate QBs effectively in high school.
