My unborn granddaughter could see that JJ wasn't the answer in the NCG. Does anyone really believe that Miles didn't know that as well by halftime?

just because JJ was bad, doesn't mean the others would have fared any better. sure they may have more yards, gotten more first downs, but it also could have been worse

i agree. but he should've tried something else because obviously JJ wasn't working out. biggest mistake he's made since he's been here IMO.

although some may argue that we were still very much in the game (score wise) until late in the 4th and thats why he stuck with him.

I do agree that as bad as JJ played, he should have at least given the kid a breather for a series to see what happens. I said the same thing during the UGA game. I think others are saying he should not have played at all, which is 20/20 hindsight.

After the toss/interception, JJ should have been dismissed to the locker room.

Again, this is all ancient history, hopefully exorcised come this November. But the only way it would have been worse is if you consider losing a national championship game 35-0 as being worse than losing it 21-0. Winning with what had been in the game plan the first half was never, ever going to happen, and that isn't just hindsight. Sure, Isat there in the Dome hoping for a turnaround, but I knew it wasn't happening with JJ and the option and the run. The only thing that would have been worse would have been if JL had gone in and gotten badly injured. But that possibility would never have been a reason to hold him out.

OK. Moving on now.

well, again, it was 12-0 until about 1:30 left in the 3rd, that's one broken play away from being back in the game. The others could have come in and throw a pick 6 or one returned deep, like Lee did on 11/5, only Bama had a block in the back on the return.

Yes, its hindsight, you might not have liked the idea, but we didn't know until the game started and that's too late to change.

I agree, I don't think it would have mattered with a different QB. I knew we were in trouble when Maze ran their first punt back 40 or so yards after we gave up, what 7 yds all year? any way its over, forgive, but never forget. Win it all in 2012 it it won't matter.
