Classes only started, what, 3 weeks ago ? His grades were OK last semester, so it must be something else.

It was Jennings. He's dropped down to 3 hours of phsyc classes and taking 18 hrs of QB by Cam. He can't attend games because Cam said so.

OP has made it painstakingly obvious who the player in question is, and he absolutely played in the bowl game.
I didn't have the good fortune to play a sport at lsu, but 2.0 is good standing for everything else and I assume it is for sports as well. At a minimum.
