I love KW, and he did some good things at LSU, but he's probably the most overrated player of the last 5 years in many circles.

I haven't read all of these post, but comparing an all time great LSU warrior who was instrumental in leading his team to a national title vs a marginal player who was average at best, is unbelievable. Laughable.

I was a big Hester fan. However, I hope KW can make and NFL roster. After comparing the amazing improvement of Nall, Booty, and Rohan after the arrival of Saban, I'm hesitant to make a judgement on KW until I see him with different coaches.

I never understood why KW did not get the ball more offten.

Jacob Hester is absolutely nowhere near being an all-time great
don't be silly
anyone who believes that probably thought Hester was better than Darren McFadden from that thread a couple years back

You think Hester is an all-time great? Based off one good year? Hell, he's like Justin Vincent
I can name a handful of rb's who had a better career than Hester

In terms of his actual on-field performance through amassing stats, no way.
In terms of being the heart & soul of the team an willing them to victory, yes.

That's fine, but I think you could have inserted several different players in his spot and we do just as well, even two other players on the same team
and don't act like lsu was the little engine that could team in 2007, we were supposed to be in the NC game

yes, as would the VAST majority of LSU fans.

me too, but I can think of about one that meant MORE/AS MUCH to his team than JH.
KFaulk.

That's irrelevant
And by saying the VAST majority of lsu fans would agree pretty much makes me right because the VAST majority if lsu fans are dunces
but arguing that Hester wasn't in fact god with lsu fans is a lost cause

Hester & JV were similiar in a way. JV did not get drafted & Hester did. But JV did play on a team that got at least a split NC.
Hester played on the 2007 NC team.

most LSU fans believe he was a great "Tiger", much along the lines of Dorsey, Davey, Hodson and others. Those are the players fans base their memories off of...

you do realize the intent of that thread was to make the point of Keiland Williams == Darren McFadden?? The responses in favor of Hester (at least most) were just mocking how stupid the thread was.
