They are already looking into something like late night pep rallies, a la Texas A&M's Midnight Yell.
Tell them to scrap this idea (the midnight yell actually).

In all seriousness, LSU’s tailgating isn’t created, it’s with us since birth. Arriving before sunrise for an 8 pm game. What sets LSU apart isn’t the traditions like the 12th man or the grove, it is an understanding that LSU football is like Mardi Gras with a football game at the end instead of a parade.
We believe in the saying “Laissez les bons temps rouler” (let the good times roll) and it just doesn’t apply to LSU football. Look how many festivals Louisiana have. Ever seen a jazz funeral? Ever seen a 2nd line at a wedding? It’s just what we do….we like to party, have fun and enjoy the company of our friends and loved ones.
This bond that we have brings us together as the sun sets in western sky and the stadium becomes a big gumbo pot. From uptown New Orleans, to the suburbs of Baton Rouge, to the farms in North La and the Swamps in South La, it doesn’t matter, we’re all tiger fans and for those 3.5 hours, we are family. You can’t instill the love for your team and tailgating in others, you can’t copy it…you either have it, or you don’t.
Good luck and enjoy LSU.

Whichever street passes closes to the locker room, have the team wear suits and walk down the street to the locker room.
Then have the band do the same, but stop and play the fight song before sprinting to the stadium.
Have the band do a pregame routine minutes before kickoff.
Encourage tailgating.

Football is just different in the south...
There's hardly any rivalry between your conference's schools like there is in the SEC.
It's like a religion down here...I'm not sure if the west coast is capable of adopting and making college football King like it is in the South.

Simple solution but cannot be done. Substitute entire Utah student body from tea totaling Mormans with Drunken Catholics

Meyer just talked ab the noise level on ESPNU. Said at one point in TS he looked down on the sideline and his pants were vibrating, said he took off his headset bc he had to see what that kind of noise sounded like

1) get a bunch of trash who never went to college drunk and have them yell UTEBAIT at everything.

So how does LSU do it? Is it possible for the atmosphere of Death Valley Tiger Stadium to be recreated, although admittedly on a much smaller scale, elsewhere?
In all honesty...no, not really. It's as much cultural as anything else, and that can't be recreated.
If you're simply looking to do gimicky things to be louder in the stadium, that's one thing and that type of stuff is easy to do.
But what makes Tiger Stadium legendary is the people that show up on Saturdays...

Or he could have asked how to recreate that awesome atmosphere of Cajun Field...

1. Learn how to cook outside, and I don't mean hotdogs and hamburgers, I mean REAL food.
2. Incorporate alcoholic beverages into your everyday culture.
3. Did anyone mention booze? Lots of it.
4. Don't forget beer.
5. Bourbon helps for inside the stadium.
6. Again, has anyone mentioned alcohol...?

Enough with the joking, this guy comes on here asking for help and nothing but get drunk statements. Come on guys.
Here is one. Have the opposing football team have to pass right by the Utah mascot as they come onto the field. I mean right by the mascot. Seemed to work at LSU!

Here are some legitimate options (outside of booze..and yes, that is the most important aspect).
1) Have the team walk down the street in suits into the stadium with fans lining the way.
2) Have the band lead them through or some kind of band performance in the street. Marching through crowds is a great tradition.
3) Cook food that can be done in huge batches and shared easily. At LSU, it is Jambalaya, Red Beans and rice, fried chicken, etc. Good food becomes the backbone to the tailgating experience.
4) SHARE YOUR FOOD. Share it with other Ute fans and the opposing fans. You want to create an atmosphere of a fun, loving culture. You can give the opposing fans trouble for their team, but then invite them for a beer and a lunch.
5) Create interactive dances for the student body.
6) Create interactive songs/dances for the entire stadium.
7) Utilize the band throughout the entire game--they should be able to uplift the crowd with some of their songs. The band is absolutely critical to Tiger Stadium being so loud. If anything goes bad, the band is there to play a song that uplifts the entire stadium.
8)Pre-game, find songs that people can sing, clap , or dance to. It gets everyone involved and moving around rather than just sitting there.
9) Come up with an awesome entrace--this is one of my favorite things about an LSU football game. The band forms an L-S-U, quickly transforms into two lines leading to the tunnel and then the announcer annouces in his famous voice, "Its Saturday night...in Death Valley...and Hear Come Your Fighting Tigers of LSU!" Probably one of the best times an LSU fan can have is right at that moment in time.
