Great job ESPN, now you can get more publicity for your contrived rematch. Good for LSU and Mathieu, but he's not there to accept the award.

Maybe win, worst case scenario is he takes regional votes from TR, that alone makes me happy.

This is true, but someone posted yesterday that Newton had more scandals than Nixon and he won....

"Great job ESPN?" "he's not there to accept the award?" So you're saying it was a fix? That he isn't worthy of the nomination?

That's a load of crap. Tyrann Matthieu EARNED that trip to NY. He's one of the most exciting players to come along in years, offense or defense, and whether he wins or not, he deserves the honor of the nomination.

Congrats Honey "TM7" Badger!

Judging by the excitement this has caused for TM7 (check his twitter) and the other players I think it was worth it. Plus we have a LSU player as a finalist for the heisman.

Also he earned it and should win it. (but probably won't but I hope he will)

I'd die if he was being interviewed and said "I'd like to thank Mike Linebacker from tigerdroppings.com for spearheading the honey badger nickname I've been lucky enough to have."

I am very proud of TM7. The Honey Badger deserves to be there and here's to his 2012 Heisman campaign kick-off!

Congrats Tyrann Mathieu !

Just looked over the Heisman finalist, Looking at Trent Richardson, its the least impressive out of the 5 finalist. Just wanted to point that out.

Also, Isn't Tyrann missing some important stats. Didn't he have a couple of Touchdowns on defense.

One was a fumble recovery taken for a touchdown closer to the beginning of the season.
