First time was Auburn last year. The wife was pregnant and deep into term. She didn't want to chance getting overheated and passing out.
I gotta say that I enjoyed it! Was actually able to zone out on the game and atmosphere and not have to talk to anybody.

I go by myself all the time. The older my friends get the more they'd rather watch the game at the tailgate. I'll never understand it. Im in there to watch the game anyway. Not socialize

Tigermite, I'm with you. I've done it often, and I can really watch the game. I drive 3 hours in, and usually have to drive back after the game, so I don't really tailgate. I actually go to watch the game...go figure.

Yes. Notre Dame game. Was a hard ticket to find. Tailgated with friends but bought a solo ticket to go in alone.
