If you are out there looking for a single ticket you can get into the games really cheap (most of the time free).

Especially right after kickoff.

not football because i can always find someone to go.

i've been to a few week night baseball games solo. it's kinda nice to just sit back and enjoy a game to your thoughts.

Last season I went to Oxford the morning of the game by myself. Met up with people I knew for game day festivities and sat by people I knew for the game though.

Sporting events, bars ..etc..you meet people. Just because you go by yourself doesn't mean you stay by yourself. Going places solo isn't a problem.

There is nothing more peaceful than going to Alex Box alone on a Sunday afternoon with a bag of peanuts, a pair of headphones and listening to the Silver Tongue himself.

I have on a handful of occassions. I had a blast and made new friends. Of course, I walked up to groups that day and started talking and I had beers with me and handed them out to them.
I'll talk to just about anyone and think that strangers at an LSU game are just friends waiting to be made.

Yes, I travel with my job and many times if LSU had an off week or was playing away, I would stay in the area I was working and caught a college game. I have been to places like Anapolis, Lubbock, Happy Valley, Eugene, Columbia, MO, New Haven, Madison, Boise and others to see a game. I can honestly admit to two things: 1. I have enjoyed every game that I was able to attend and 2. Nothing has come close to Tiger Stadium.

I have never attended a LSU game alone.

Family or friends not being able to go has never stopped me. If you are looking to buy tickets at the stadium, most times you can buy one ticket easier than two or more,

i can enjoy myself drinking whiskey and watching lsu football alone pretty much anywhere. gifted/last minute single tickets are always welcomed. caring about who you're there with is rather womanly, imo.

Yes, maybe 3 times. It usually involved someone backing out and I didn't want to not go.

Agree completly. The 08 Ole Miss game, as shitty as it was, was a great day in my book. Our baby was 2 weeks old, I'd been home and working from home for those two weeks and barely gotten out. Planned to go to game with a friend but he backed out Thurs night. I never told the wife and just went on by myself. Got to stadium about noon, partied with some complete strangers for an hour or so, went in, took pics from field level and enjoyed being out.

I actually prefered it going with wife and family drama

All the time. I live in Abu Dhabi and Thailand and not in the loop too much with old friends back home in Lafayette. When I fly into town during the season I get a few tickets sometimes with friends and sometimes without. I trip to Auburn every other year with an old friend (4 straight games and counting-and I live 9,000 miles away)

I drove from Lafayette to Houston to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl (by myself)- was working as I needed to take care of some things as I bolted back to bangkok 2 days after the game, as I had been in country for X-mas since 20th Dec. I went to 4 tailgates in Dallas, sat by myself and met a few hotties.

For games I could care less who I am sitting with- as long as I am watching my Tigers play with my eyeballs is all I care about...I can high five strngers just as well.
