Simone Augusta is not a GOAT in NCAA Women's Basketball.

And wouldn’t a GOAT, in an individual sport, have to win a national championship? Armond Duplantis went on to be a GOAT as a professional, but he failed to win the natty at LSU. The Swede was beaten by an American, BTW.

This baseball team is the equivalent of the 2019 football team in my opinion.

Both won titles, both title games were beat downs, both won all of the major end of season awards and it’s possible you’ll have the top 2 draft picks.

I think you still have to give Ben the nod on his career but Dylan is the greatest ever positional player and Skenes just had the most dominant pitcher season ever

I agree that scoring avg record with NO three point line is very GOATASTIC. I definitely have Pistol Pete on my LSU GOAT wall at home.

Burrow and skenes both had 2 of the best seasons ever in their respective sports, however crews did it at a high level all 3 years here, for that reason, I give him the edge over burrow and skenes as a “GOAT”

No, But that’s okay. They won the championship, which is the best you can do. That 2019 team could have replayed their entire schedule and they would have gone undefeated again!

Pete’s scoring was incredible but what separates him is that he was an absolute magician on the court. What he did will never be duplicated.

Bo Jackson, Charles Barkley and Frank Thomas were all on campus at the same time.

2 of those 3 were great, great players but aren’t even in the discussion for GOAT in their respective sport.

Bo, at least has an argument.

Bruh… sure Mondo is the world’s best pole vaulter, but I don’t think he even won a natty in his very short LSU career. He doesn’t even get considered.

Maravich was the BEST. Others are great. He was in a class by himself.

What’s funny is how some of these children think he couldn’t jump. He could absolutely glide. His hang time was ridiculous. He played below the rim because of the rules (no dunking allowed). There were no touch fouls then either. You were punished for going into the lane.
