The LSU administration pissed all over the fans and any appearance of doing what it takes to achieve and/or maintain program excellence with the political chicanery of this hire.
That is far worse than just losing ball games.
Losing games will simply be a biproduct of it.

The more CFB turns into the NFL, where politics prevail and the regular season doesn't matter, the less interested I become.
The good news is I will save a lot of $$ on tickets and travel that I can spend on hunting and fishing

I don't watch games like a used to. I was heavily invested in LSU games, but now I don't even watch them live. Then when actually hired Ed O without even giving anybody else an interview or a chance, I actually stopped reading or listening to anything LSU for about a week. Anyway, I'm way less invested in LSU and football in general now. Mostly I just watch some highlights

unfortunately ,negative attitude people seem to be the driving and steering force behind LSU sports right now , and if attitudes don't change we become a no where team going no where !

From age 12-30 LSU was my top priority. Traveled to every game for several sports. Kept up with recruiting. Followed every article and radio show. Now I barely keep up with the game time each week. Lea Miles started it. Now I'm used to just watching on my DVR and that's ok. My kids are more important to me and one day I can get back into it with them if they want. But for now, I don't care anymore. Win or lose, my life doesn't change. I know Bama is way better than us and until that changes I don't see myself getting to excited for Saturday's in the fall.

Never. CFB is a beauty contest that is entertainment first.
Many of you here need to come to grips with this and you will enjoy it more. I have, despite LSU's obvious "decline" the past few years.
It is always LSU first for me, then anything else on Saturday. In other words, I'll watch LSU and prioritize that game (no matter who we play), but if the LSU game/product is unappealing, I will simply change the channel and watch another game. I found myself doing that a lot the past few years. Last November, I maybe watched a full half of LSU football due to the lack of excitement associated with the games. I watched other games instead. That's the great thing about college sports: there are always dozens of other options, unless it is the post season.
You also have to remember LSU's place in CFB, and what advantages/disadvantages LSU has being a Tier 2 program (in the eyes of the media). LSU is a Tier 1 program historically, but a Tier 2 program in terms of media adoration and potential profit for those who own and run the sport (ESPN, CBS, and Fox...but mainly ESPN).
There, I've said too much.
