I see this as a small vocal few of fans who want this to be a controversy. I don't think we have any controversy at QB. Les is playing the QB that gives us the best chance to win the game. And the entire team seems to understand this and be on board. It still does not change that both JL and JJ want to start, but they understand putting the team first gives LSU the best chance at winning the NC.

You started following the team this year, I'm guessing? Or maybe some time in the past two? (But, hell there were bigger "debates" regarding some of the shite Miles did then, so it has to be this year.)

For the better part of 20 yrs. Sat through every home game in the late 90s when we sucked arse.

I said it because many have flamed if your a Lee fan your not a true LSU fan and please dont sit here and say that hasnt been said numerous times.

Since you must be a mind reader (albeit not a very good one since you are clueless on my feelings for LSU) please tell me who my fav NFL team is? Just want to see if you really are a mind reader maybe you just were off on ur first try!

The most popular guy in Baton Rouge is always the backup QB at LSU

He's done good so far this season.

This is exactly why there IS a controversy among fans. Fans saw the team win 8 games with J Lee at QB. Fans have now seen the team win 5 games with JJ at QB. So the fans debate who should be playing, although the result is the same.

Not quite what you were looking for, but there's one that considers seeing a) Jefferson fail and LSU lose and b) LSU finishing the regular season undefeated to be equally desirable outcomes....

You've got a seriously distorted perspective then, if you think this is the biggest debate in LSU football in the past 20 years.

Hell, I wouldn't put it in the top 20 that I've noticed over that timeframe.

Biggest QB debate. I should have clarified but this is what the thread is really about. I think it is.

If we lose to Bama. IF, then you will see a real quarterback controvery and 20% of the dumfuks on here will say it was a bad season.

Not sure if there's ever been a more polarizing QB controversy as this one at LSU.
It's not as big as a few loud rantards on here try to make it out to be.

13-0. frick'em.

It's not a controversy until the "fans" make it one.

Like Miles said a couple weeks ago, it doesn't matter how we see it. He's the coach and he'll choose the best option that provides victory. He'll continue to do it without permission.

Gotcha. I guess I misread.

Booty/Davey was much bigger.

If it's not affecting wins and losses (13-0) I don't see it as a big controversy in my mind. So I still disagree.

I think he threw it with his left hand. There was some kind of "obstacle" to make it more fair.
