Name the last LSU-Arkansas game in the last 10 years where both teams were relevant, dude. The 2011 game happened 12 years ago.

Now do GA Tech

What’s interesting is going to be 2025 and beyond. If they stay with the 1-7, 8 game format with the permanent opponents that were rumored for each team and assuming that Tex-OU keep their game during the state fair, it would force those two to have rotating opponents every year during rivalry weekend, or schedule someone OOC.

Are the times of the games being announced as well tomorrow?I remember hearing them saying that they will be announced ahead of time from now on to allow for travel plans to be mad in advance.

Lol getting downvoted for asking a legit question which turns out to be true

It amazes me that any LSU fan thinks the LSU-Arkansas game is a rivalry like GT/UGA, Ala/Aub, or Fla/FSU. Just because some dumarse Akie oil company guy bought an expensive ugly trophy doesn't make it a rivalry.

LSU and OU are 100% going to be matched up for rivalry weekend as the last game of the season for each school to keep relevant in the last game of the regular season. I guess we're supposed to fill the void of the Bedlam series for now

Bama, @Florida, and OU to end the season. Damn....it's going to either bolster a resume for the expanded CFP at the end or kill us

You sound so stupid right now. In what universe is LSU a rival to Mississippi State? Look at it from States perspective. Don’t you think they’d like to have one less juggernaut on their slate?

You misunderstand.

I’m saying lsu has played state more than they’ve played any other team.

The SEC took them off the schedule. If they dropped State from the schedule, they would have no problem moving Arkansas to another date.

My point had nothing to do with Mississippi State, but rather OU/LSU is a more desirable matchup than LSU/Ark on rivalry weekend in that both teams will likely be playing for something.

It has nothing to do about $$. A&M and Missouri joined & neither had a rival. So they made LSU-A&M instead of pairing them & Mizzou together. LSU-OU will make $$ regardless of whether it’s on 10/19, 11/16, or 11/30. If it’s about doing rivalries (like the other 8 SEC matchups on rivalry week), then LSU-Ark & OU-Mizzou is what makes the most sense.

You were saying?

They’ve been moving Arkansas around the schedule for years now. This isn’t new

No shite, what’s your point?

The back and forth between me and the other poster was that I believed OU/LSU
was more desirable than us playing Arkansas.

He argued history mattered regarding the matchup. I argued quality of the teams mattered more.

Now you sound stupid.
