When you view it as a response to "I asked God for guidance" , it is not so bad. Could be that he is saying he is smart for praying about it.

some when challenged get up and fight harder...others throw a hissy fit and point the finger at others. Brandon is looking like he's the latter.

obviously the system and development here are lacking, but that doesn't excuse brandon for all of his shortcomings. I think his inner circle is pumping is head up about how good he is

You're correct about the fact that he will light it up wherever he transfers. Doesn't excuse him being a whiny bitch

The staff, the scheme, nor lunar phase has anything to do with his inaccuracy.

I'm sure Harris is his own worst critic when it comes to his performance but you can't put all the blame at his feet. There is a bad trend with qb's at LSU and we all know who is calling the shots. Things aren't gonna change until there is change made at the top.

Please explain this trend. In the past 10 years, there has been inconsistent QB play, but there is no clear trend. LSU replaced the number 1 pick in the draft with a QB that went on to win a national championship. The heir apparently then got kicked off the team. We had a rough patch where they had to try to develop players faster than they anticipated. Lee ended up putting up great numbers in his final season. Then Mett stepped in and went on to have a great year in 2013. The past few years have looked closer to the JJ/Lee saga, but the jury is still out on what Etling will look like moving forward.

Why do "fans" feel the need to make more out of stuff than needed.

Why do they feel the need to turn on players and have such hatred. When I saw the memes, created by LSU fans, trashing Harris.. I was pretty disappointed.

last I checked, Southern Miss scored 35 straight to beat Kentucky, who is arguably better than Boise...and Cardinal Directional School from Alabama beat Mississippi State who is also better than Boise...

you want to go there?

Your argument for UK and Miss St. Being better than Boise is that UK got beat by Southern Miss and Miss St got beat by South Alabama?

Yea, I do want to go there. Once again, I'm not the only person that thinks Boise has a decent team. 40 or so voters think they should be ranked in the top 25.

Wow. Etling is hardly "ahead" of him. I hope he doesn't transfer.

well, ULL's competition may not be as good, but Jennings' own teammates aren't as good either, so it's a wash.

And didn't ULL play Boise State? They're legit competition, aren't they?

And don't get me wrong, Jennings wasn't the answer for us and isn't an SEC-caliber QB. But clearly he's doing well so far at ULL.

I agree. His best bet to start at a P5 school is here.

"Hatred" is a word that's thrown around way too much. Fans love our players, but this is elite college football and if a guy isn't producing, he's got to be benched.

And when a high profile guy like a QB shows certain immature behavior when things don't go his way, well, he opens himself up to criticism. He knows he lives in a fishbowl, so every action, tweet, etc. is going to be news. Harris knows that, and knew it when he voluntarily signed a scholarship with LSU.

Being critical of his on-field production and off-field immaturity isn't "hating."

Jennings would have to complete his next 140 passes in a row at LSU to match the completion percentage he has with ULL through 2 weeks, and Jennings was less accurate than Harris by quite a bit.

Sometimes you can play to your QBs strengths and hid his deficiencies, but you can't do that at LSU.
