I hope he stays, he'll be a very good QB under Fisher or Herman next year.

I agree but at some point as an athlete with a lot of followers you have to realize you are exposing yourself by putting this type of shite on social media for the world to see

I high fived Jordan Jefferson on campus the Monday after the Ole Miss spike debacle and told him "good game."

Real fan.

I just don't understand the thought process for current players.

BH makes an ill-advised tweet and doesn't appear to be handling the adversity very well at the moment.

Grown man steps in to tweet at him and tell him he's being a whiny brat.

I mean pot, meet kettle.

The stuff with recruits is just creepy AF.

Can he though? He'd have to graduate, or sit a year out ending his eligibility.

^^This kind of stuff isn't much better though. Someone makes a comment they think a current player will be good if/when he transfers somewhere else. A fan can't let it go and feels the need to remind him that the current player sucks as a leader and can't throw the football.

There is a considerable likelihood he will still play football for LSU in meaningful snaps in the current year yet this is how people think. I'll never understand it.

If he was at Tulane they would be 2-0. Doesn't even have to go all that far.

Well it's obvious that the people acting like he will "light it up" anywhere else are saying it just as a way to get a dig in on the program and not at all saying that just to be supportive of him.

I'm waiting for all these players that have transferred over the years to blow up on another team like the haters on this site proclaimed when they left but it has yet to happen.

Yeah, I'm sure that when he arrives at "somewhere" he will show up with a great decision-making skills, leadership qualities and the ability to be accurate throwing to wide open receivers on short and intermediate routes. It will be magical.

OSU, FSU teams that can teach a QB.
How many highly rated high school QBs have gone to OSU and FSU and never amounted to much? Both have had their share of flops. They have had the good fortune of also recruiting QBs who could get the job done.

Out of curiosity, during the Miles era what high school QBs wanting to come to LSU did the coaching staff pass on that went on to be successful elsewhere? If you limit it to Louisiana high school players, then Dak Prescott is the only miss, and he stuck by his early commitment to the first school to offer him.

ULLs qb usually does well, but have no future. The run an open offense and qb usually puts up decent #s

Not usually a reflection of them having a good qb, IMO

I hope that all the furor is a result of misinformation from a fairly cryptic tweet. I note that he has also been very supportive of both team members & showing off the throwback uniforms for Saturday. As far as making his account private, seeing some of the hateful, disgusting things that so-called fans have sent him I certainly do not blame him.

Brandon has always had the reputation of being a "good kid" & I hope this is true. The pain of his situation is immense, I'm pulling for him to push through it & use it as motivation to get better. I don't understand the pleasure some seem to get from kicking a guy when he's down. Yes, it was time (maybe past time) to let someone else take the reins but that's a very poor excuse to cannibalize one of our on.

My thoughts for Brandon are, it's tough, it's painful but, it's just part of the game - work hard, get better & be supportive, things have a way of turning in an instant. Next time it could be you that becomes the hero of the day.
