In significantly less time, Harris gained the same yards on 1/3 the number of attempts... and had 2 tds.

Jennings averaged 6 yards per attempt.

Jennings = JJ.

And CLM will stick to him like velcro, so Harris' skills and heroics last night were seen by all but the one person who could make him the starter.

Had Harris not got in the game, he would have separated himself from Jennings. Jennings throws a nice long pass, but fails with intermediate passes. His game decisions are poor. Jennings is horrible.

Second string defense or not, you put Harris in and take your lumps. He clearly has more upside.

That's not apples to apples. Very different play calling when Harris was in at the end of the game and MSY defense was butter with a 4 score lead. Not saying Harris shouldn't be the guy, but you cannot compare stats from last night's game to prove that point.

His throws were nearly perfect

It would've been hard to defend for even the first stringers.

Not buying what you are selling. Jennings would not/could not (pick one) have done what Harris did in his short time out on the field, or he would have been doing that all game, at least all second half.

no need to compare stats, just let your eyeballs answer the question.

Really? He would have been doing that with 2 tight ends and one receiver sets? The right thing to do at this point is let Harris go the rest of the year and learn, but my point is when Harris was in last night Cam wasn't calling fullback dives into a 10-man box.

The fact of the matter is that if we are gonna lose games, i prefer to lose them w Harris making and learning from mistakes.

Same w Beckwith, Adams, Dupre, and LF.

Harris separated himself during the Spring Game. Miles is the one who keeps trotting Jennings out there.

Completely agree with this... I rather see this season of Harris going through the growing pains of playing in the sec

Honestly, I don't have a problem w Jennings getting reps and allowing BH to get some in game coaching from sideline. But BH needs lions share of snaps.

I prefer to take more lumps this yr rather than a bit less this yr AND next yr.

Yep, Jennings is terrified of possibly throwing an interception.
