knocking arguably one of the legends of college football when you have done nothing special to date is weak sauce.

And one has a Heisman Trophy and 2 National Titles and one of the most decorated football players in NCAA history. That one is Tebow.

Which has nothing to do with what Mett mentioned which is mechanics. What the hell is wrong with some people. Is it really that hard to comprehend a simple comment & understand the simple context of a statement?!

Mett didn't say Tebow sucks. He didn't say he was better then Tebow. He didn't say he has accomplished more then Tebow on the college level. He just simply said his mechanics are not on terrible like Tebow mechanics are. If Ray Charles was still alive, he would have been able to see that Tebow has shitastic throwing mechanics. Yet though in typical rantard fashion the tards blow something out of proporation.

The same tards burying Mett for an insignificant comment, are same ones who pile on other fanbases for stupidity yet are some of the stupidest of our fanbase.

I'm starting to feel so much smarter because apparently I'm one of the rare people that actually got Mett's point.

The main point is be smart. Don't even bring up Tebow........it's called tact.

How about just cite that you have a good mechanical base and call it a day? A slight, even though technically valid, on a legendary player is just fricking stupid and/or immature.

when you represent my school at media day, and especially when you really haven't done shite on the field yet, all comments are potentially relevant, and a little tact and diplomacy should go into the thought process before opening your pie hole and letting unfiltered nonsense spew forth

The melodrama in this thread is very entertaining.

Tebow has been trying for years to fix his mechanics. Does that mean Tebow is knocking arguably one of the legends of college football?

so, you think it was a smart thing to say coming from what is perceived by many as someone who is greatly underachieving?

Does that make Tebow's mechanics any less terrible?

Depends on the vehicle. Is it a '13 Mercedes or a '73 Pinto?

I think most of us get Mett's point. Some are just saying that there was a better way to make that point than name-dropping Tebow.
Whatever. It's no big deal, IMO.

Did everyone already forget Mett threw for the 5th most passing yards in LSU history and led the team to a 10 win season just this past year? can't really say he hasn't done "anything."

I think he's safe on calling out Tebow's shitty throwing mechanics.
