Bold statement from an average QB

I don't think it's very bold to say you have better throwing mechanics than Tim Tebow. It's pretty much the opposite of bragging. It's such a low bar that you're actually not complimenting yourself when you say it.

So. Honest poll question: would any of you prefer Mett's loss in the chicken bowl to Clemson over Tebow's bad mechanics, 2 BCS chanpionships, and a Heisman? Yeah. Didn't think so

well that's a trick question because your mechanics have to at least be good enough to get you on the field in order for the media to realize how bad they are

Tim Tebow is evidence against this.

So that would mean you advised him to say that?

Man some of these posters have to be women. That's what I'm hoping for. At least they would have an excuse to not see that part of it.

At least we've established that you don't even understand mechanics when it relates to QBs.

Did I miss the part of the question related to his completion percentage beyond 20 yards?

Still not a bold statement. I completed 0% of passes over 20 yards last year and it's still not a bold statement if it came out of my mouth.

Because he's better with the media than you are. He made a pop culture reference. What about that is lost on you?

No shite. I have better mechanics than Tim Tebow. And I don't know if I can even throw the ball 20 yards.

I would like a clarification on what exactly defines a QB's "mechanics". I know it normally refers to throwing motion, keeping the ball up high, etc. But can footwork also be a part of a QB's mechanics?

Not a chance. They only hire people with some semblance of intelligence for positions like that.
