Could Hill/Fournette be even better than Taylor/Cannon in 1957?

Hill/Magee/Fournette could be a trio that demoralizes opponents.

But LSU will need solid OL performance and at least a little down field passing threat to maximize the potential.

Two different generations but sure. My top 5:

1)Faulk/Collins
2)Cannon/Taylor
3)Hillard/James
4)Hill/Fournette (might be #1 soon)
5)Alexander/??(Had to put Charles A in there)

Dalton James Gang...but James couldn't stay on the field. He was fast, Hillard was more side to side.

Why do people forget about Hilliard. Dude still has good carries in him.

People forget faulk got hurt that season but when he returned from the injury he almost couldn't get back on the field. The diesel was wrecking heads oh what might have been with that duo.

Hill/Fournette/Williams/Magge/Possibly Hillard.

Next year we have that UHIGh running back coming in who's a 5 star.

So it'll be Fournette/Williams/Him/some other freshmen/

Alexander was strictly run in an I formation behind Kelly Simmons at fullback. Simmons was a hell of a fullback and could clock anyone. Unfortunately Charles never had a great passing game to take the heat off so he always ran against 8 in the box. When Woodley was in he had him to take some heat off because Woodley could really run too.
