The attitude JJ has displayed worries me a lot. He has never taken responsibility and has blamed others. I will be willing to bet that kicks and screams until he gets the spot back. This could create a lot of problems. I hope I am wrong.

This is why i hope IF he does get back on the team CLM finds a way to use him (even as a position other than QB) and still have LEE as the starter.

I hope the best for the JJ's, if they are found not guilty and are reinstated I believe Lee should continue the starting role and If he is stalled or something like that then MAYBE JJ should come in but Iwould not sit Lee for JJ unless he has a total implosion.
well the whole offense has been tailored to fit lee. So how are they supposed to just go back to JJ? You have to be real careful with practice time. I don't think there is time for all that, it's all about game planing now.

I love how Lee was running the read option during fall drills.

This. He will be welcomed back. LSU will be a better team if he comes back. We will need him at some point, whether it's for change of pace, for an injured Lee, or to start for a struggling Lee.
I do think he could add a little extra swagger, even though we don't need any more

The criminal justice system in Baton Rouge may be f-ing LSU two times within two months. I hope all you folks in EBR remember this fiasco come election time.

Here's the deal...

Whether proved guilty or innocent they both put themselves in that position, period.
All eyes are on you when you're an athlete and your conduct must exhibit this respectfully because you represent the University.

Had he respected the curfew, acted as the better person and walked away, and a number of other things and you wouldn't even been involved.

Having said that, if cleared I don't see why they would not be a part of the team again, but CERTAINLY you lose the position you once held as a leader or active participant of the team.

JLee has maintained his image and conduct as a mature leader and contributer of the team, no DAMN GOOD reason to strip that from him now, esp. after all he's going through to get where he is today.

People keep saying this, but what position would that be? JJ has always been a QB, so what position is so weak that a player can practice a couple of weeks at, and step in an play a head of a player who has always played that spot?

Now what should Les do with JJ when he returns?

Put him on the bench. We don't need him. As a back-up to METT yes.

If this is correct how the hell did they ever think they had enough evidence to arrest this kid.
The investigation turned up nothing to prove him guilty. Not enough to get arrest warrant, not near enough to get true bill from GJ and even greater strecth to think a jury would ever convict the kid beyond reasonable doubt. Now when it comes to football long damn season injuries happen so depth at the position is nice, think he must earn his postion just like other players have to. He starts back in as number #3 and works his way back up. Way the other two are playing at this stage of the season uphill battle for JJ but stranger things have happened. Hopefull the legal issue will be over soon.

Is that what you think?

you guys are so stupid. lm will play jj. there is no if, and or buts about it. jj will get playing time soon after his return. I don't know when or if he will start but he will play meaningful time. the others players want him back because for one thing they know jj wasn't the only player kicking and punching.
