Maybe hold a team vote.
The majority would obviously vote to reinstate him and whoever didn't would end up being ostracized.

Great!
This ain't close to a ham sandwich.
This. There's always a chance that there are some LSU die hards on the grand jury who might take this case a little more serious than any other. Fair or not.

Is that what you think?

I think it does not matter what all you clowns think JJ gives us our best chance to win down the stretch! No of you people have any say in that so just shut the hell up and let the coaches make the desicions !?

Now what should Les do with JJ when he returns?
If Miles wants it to all just go away, look for JJ to get in a ton of snaps against Western Kentucky thus burning his last year. Otherwise
I see Miles offering JJ option to redshirt and have a full senior year, or play rest of year as backup with chance to regain starter role only if Lee struggles.

Play him as much as he is playing him now.

lm will play jj. there is no if, and or buts about it. jj will get playing time soon after his return.
This would be a BAD thing for the team. AND LEE. Lee has been doing just what he is supposed to do. Manage the game and don't make mistakes. NO reason to change that now.

If this is correct how the hell did they ever think they had enough evidence to arrest this kid.
The investigation turned up nothing to prove him guilty. Not enough to get arrest warrant, not near enough to get true bill from GJ and even greater strecth to think a jury would ever convict the kid beyond reasonable doubt. Now when it comes to football long damn season injuries happen so depth at the position is nice, think he must earn his postion just like other players have to. He starts back in as number #3 and works his way back up. Way the other two are playing at this stage of the season uphill battle for JJ but stranger things have happened. Hopefull the legal issue will be over soon.
There are several issues at play here.
1. The one addressed by the OP regarding the lack of a DNA match.
2. The fact that the DA is using the GJ to cover his azz.
3. The fate of Jefferson if he isn't indicted.
4. The fate of Jefferson if the matter goes to trial, or is plead down.
The fact is that until the other issues are resolved, #3 is a worthless exercise.

Hillar presents a poor case, by design, and the Grand Jury returns with no true bill. No indictment.

Ar you really stupid enough to believe the Jefferson called that play on his own? You can't posibly be that fu cking ignorant.

dear god no. the return of JJ is the only thing that could derail this season.

Doesn't the NCAA have to grant a red shirt after their freshman year?

Wow, do we really think Les is not felling anything for both players for being what it appears falsely accused.
I don't think so, these guys are like family to the other players.
I think as always, Les will play the best prepared player.
Whoever plays best in closed practice deserves to play. And we should support them as fans.

May offer him a redshirt opportunity, but beyond that, week by week, the coaches will play the qb they feel gives them the best chance to win. I don't think they think chemistry or anything else is as important.

not a chance jj redshirts if grand jury reduces charges or fails to indict. there would be an outrage from the players on this. lm already knows how this will play out. hell he knew 4 weeks ago when jj was charged. this is all a bunch of political bs.
