Both teams have an SEC Title at stake. Winning this game means more for these teams right now

Sounds like they are dragging their feet till the last minute that way the game will have to be rescheduled to maybe Sunday or another date. Sounds like UF will do whatever necessary to keep it out of BR

Do they have weather radars in Gainesville? A Katrina sized storm is headed your way. I understand you don't won't to play in BR but to insist it will remain in Gainesville is asinine.

Can you imagine the announcement from the Florida governor? "I encourage everyone to be safe and evacuate, except you Gator fans going to The Swamp.....y'all be careful"

I have to say I really think it's all gonna be fine. Looks to me like the latest cone is maybe a little more to the east.

The wind forecast for Gainesville is about 40+ mph at the worst point. And that's on Friday. I know other parts of the state will be hit harder, but as far as personnel, emergency responders, etc. I think Gainesville will be fine.

With similar circumstances I can't see how any Tiger fans would be at all agreeable to moving the game.

Even if it is in BR it wont be a full stadium. Season ticket holders don't have tickets to the game. And they will not all buy tickets.

It's not that G'Ville is in the direct path but law enforcement & first responders will be pulled from the area to assist in the harder hit areas & people will be evacuating to & through that area.
