We used to have to play Julio in HS. So I had been watching him since he was 16

For the record I think Mike Evans will be one hell of an NFL player FWIW

My first LSU game, 1971 vs Colorado. Cliff Branch played for the Buffs and went on to have a great career with the Raiders.

Emmitt Smith would be the most impressive to me. I was in the band for all three games he played against the Tigers, and even at the time I was impressed with how well he followed his blocks to keep the defense away.

Every player that's played LSU that's ever existed? The answer should be the same for everyone.

I don't really get the point of the thread.

White, Allen, Brenner, and the other stars on that 79 USC team.

Willie Gault
Emmett Smith
Reggie White
Steve Buerlein
Mark Bavarro
Flozell Adams
Mucin Muhammed
Steve Walsh
All those FL guys under Spurrier-they all run together.
Did Deon Sanders play for FSU when they came into TS or was he after that?
I probably saw Kenny Stabler, but I was just a tyke and don't remember.
The DL with the Cajun name for Iowa who dominated us in the Cap One Bowl in 2005
The WR for TX who lit us up in the Cotton Bowl under Saban.

You use the term stars pretty loosely based on these names I'd say. I'd consider maybe 8 on this list stars.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Darren McFadden. I remember watching him play in Tiger Stadium in 2007 and it was one of the most impressive live performances I've ever seen by a running back.

ETA: my bad, he was mentioned on the first page.

Someone mentioned McFadden but no one mentioned Brett Favre. Didn't he beat LSU in TS?
