People/media jumping on Henry for Heisman bandwagon have forgotten he had sub-100 yard games against Middle Tennessee 18 for 96, Louisiana Monroe 13-52 & Arkansas 27-95......

Leonard's were Bama & Arkansas.....bit of a difference there defensively

I get what you're saying, but LF had sub par games on the biggest stage when the majority of the college football world was watching.

And, Bama still won those games. Shouldn't make a difference, but it does.

I think he will still put up Heisman worthy numbers, but all people will point out is the Alabama game.

Elliot has a chance to win it before Henry. Everyone in Big 10 country will give him the vote and the West coast will split them between him and Henry.

SEC country is going to split votes between Henry and Fournette still.

the reason people are upset has nothing to do with other candidates, or even LF's performance...it's the lack of effort on the OL, coaching, etc that would seemingly put LF in a better position (especially up against equivalent defensive talent)

There are some oblivious negative idiots in here who know nothing about football. OP is not one of them.

LF will win the Heisman.

No Heisman, hard to not do well in biggest game when Henry did a lot more.
Fournette probably gets Doak Walker instead.

yea, but Bama and Arky were big games at the end of the year. The Bama game was on the biggest stage and he ran for 31 yds and Henry for 200+.

Still time for LF to make his case, but the Heisman voters are just going to struggle to get over the Bama and Arky performances.

Plus, the Heisman tends to go to a player on a very highly ranked team. That ain't us right now.

I call BS about Fournette not being in it still. Some things need to line up for him but if he goes off against Ole Miss and A&M he is right back in the thick of the conversation. He can't just have 130 yard games he needs 200+ sports center runs. Bad thing is Henry plays a weak arse team then Auburn then gets the extra game against Florida in prime time spot light.

A running back from a team with at least 2 losses isn't going to win the Heisman. People still clinging to hope about this baffle me.

If any RB wins it, it will be Cook.

Henry will also run for 200+ on Auburn to end the year so he won't give up any ground while Fournette runs for 200+ on A&M.

Its almost over for Fournette but its definitely over if Ole Miss wins.

The invite to NY as an underclassmen is still a big deal though and great publicity.

Montee Ball scored 39 touchdowns in 2011 and finished 4th in the Heisman voting. The only two running backs to win the award in the last 15 years both played for the BCS title the year they won it. It goes to the best player on the best team or to a QB with ridiculous stats - Fournette is neither of those.
