Head Coach of what? LSU?

Some of you are just stupid.

So what's so dumb about it? Coach Mac at Florida was at Colorado state for a few years and Flordia seems to be on the rise after 1 year. So tell me what is dumb about the possibility of Frank returning in 10 years.

So many damned threads it's hard to decide which one to post in. But since this one seems to have the most legs, here is my best case scenario if FW is gone:

- Cam to combination QB/RB coach.
- Miles pulls another Aranda out of his hat and hires some great up and coming OC.

I said that Frank could be a consideration for the HC job in 10 years. And now that we have someone (coach O) to take over recruiting coordinator, it may not be such a bad thing that Frank is getting HC experience. I'm not sure what stripes thinks is dumb about that?

Happy for him. He's done more for LSU the last 6 years than any other assistant coach at any other program in the country. We'll be fine.

Rough to see him go sooner than we expected, especially the timing. But you can't begrudge our RB coach for taking a head coaching offer at an FBS school. UTSA is getting undervalued in this thread because they are such a new commodity, but they are in Conference-USA and play in the Alamodome. You might have noticed them when they had a home and home with Arizona.

The rantards will always come out full force showing true colors when something like this happens. Fitting this recruiting class will most likely finish #1 unanimously accross the board and we have arguably the most talented backfield in LSU history as coach Frank leaves

we are lucky as hell we had him as long as we did. he is a huge deal at LSU but it seems he didn't have much opportunity for advancement (i.e. off coordinator/whatever) staying at LSU.

i hope the best for him. surprised UTSA is the best he could get, but not knocking it. they are getting a good one

Good for Frank. Miles has had very few assistants be pursued for head gigs elsewhere.

Wilson, peveto, pelini, orgeron.

Just to name a few. Sure there are others. Chavis might have been offered by somewhere just didn't want to be HC. Cam has been a head coach, Ron Cooper as well.

It was going to happen someday. Hopefully, Les has already reached out to Jabar Juluke. If nothing else, elevate O to Recruiting Coordinator (or Recruiting Co-Coordinator) and get Juluke on the job ASAFP.

Sucks that he is leaving, and we may very well lose some recruits, but the man can't be a position coach for the rest of his life.

The rant hasn't had much to melt about over the last month so they are just letting it all out here.

Good for Coach Wilson, it was only a matter of time he left for a HC job. Best of luck to him

Yea lets get Early Doucet to coach WR's and Ali Highsmith to coach LB's while we're at it.
