Last year was Cameron's first time matching up with the SEC defenses.

Which is why I have no problems with Les' input in the offense. He actually has coached in the sec.

I don't know why some people can't figure this out, but Les is the Head Coach. His input is in the offense, defense, special teams, recruiting board, camps, and anything else that has to do with LSU football. He has hired a home run staff around him to maximize his vision of the program. Oh, and he's on pace to be the winningest coach in school history. His input is just fine.

Most should already know this. When Rivers announced he was going to transfer he said it was because LSU was going to a more spread type offense.

Did he say that or did his brother say that?

I do think it was Phillip that said it but considering it's his brother I am going with it being accurate. That's doesn't mean a total revamp , I do think they will install some stuff for a athletic QB. No I don't think it will look anything like what was run under George Jefferson

pro style QBs can run spread offenses just fine. Drew Brees is a master of it.

You don't need a mobile QB to run the spread either.

A slinger works just fine

Look at the OL splits next saints game, they don't run a spread.

He was a 2x heisman finalist running the spread offense at purdue. He still has the Big 10 record for yards and touchdowns

I didn't know that. I'm not a spread guy but I really like the idea of spreading teams out more so we have better running lanes. Plus more QB options and TE passes. Spread the wealth offense should make things easier for our young QB.

TMaGee would flourish in a spread offense.

I think so too. He has a great burst of speed but can't quite power his way through the line like Jeremy did. Give him some space and I think he would be great.
