Can't say I'm inspired by the BH response...lol...but if the defense is great, I can deal with it...

Has Brandon Harris gotten better with the shorter passes?

Brandon, he’s still developing. One thing about him, it starts off with him and his attitude. He’s always coming into the huddle and encouraging us, even when somebody drops the ball. He’s always clapping his hands and (saying), ‘Pick it up. We can do better.’

Is it possible for Aranda to maybe coach the offense too?

Maybe we can figure out bamas 3-4 scheme this year?

Its not like a mystery, its a bunch of fricking animals on the other side of the ball playing their best football.

Defense wins Championships.

We talk a lot about the need for Brandon Harris to improve, and that's true, but a huge part of the reason we haven't been in a position to truly be dominant since 2011 (and 2012 but not to the same extent) is that we haven't had a defense that just breaks you down and demoralizes you. That helps momentum and when you start with a shirt field it's a huge confidence boost for your offense, which in a lot of ways is what this team needs.

Exactly. It starts up front on the defensive line for LSU. LSU is at its best when the defense is dominant and a plethora of running backs to shove down the other team's throat.

Everyone has heard "The best defense is a good offense"!

But I would counter that "The best defense is a good defense!"

Don't line up with 2 tight ends and a running back to start.

They hardly did. Stats on that have been posted, and the 3 WR set was the one employed the most - almost half the time. Do you want to make another suggestion?

Line up in wishbone, then audible to 5 wide

I think Aranda will be good, but let's not crown him to soon. It's really not that hard to stop or confuse the LSU offense.

really hope Aranda is here long enough (maybe 3 years or so) to help rebuild that LSU defensive culture and mentality

Fournette is simply an incredible individual, on and off the field.

Having ambassadors like him and TM is exactly what the city of New Orleans needs right now.

Lou Tepper ran a read and react defense. Aranda emphasizes attacking the opponent from the get go, not vice versa. You are wrong on so many levels.

He was also a bad DC at pretty much every stop prior.

This dude is just trying to show how cool he is by not buying into all the hype, and how he can recall an obscure former LSU coach by name.
