It might go for 10k. Don't see it getting much higher.

LSU helmet signed by Miles & USC's by Spurrier. The 3 items will be bundled with opening bid beginning at 7K

The autographed Fournette jersey along with a Steve Spurrier-signed South Carolina helmet worn in that game and a Les Miles-signed LSU helmet from that contest will be part of the auction. All the items will be packaged together with the opening bid set for $7,000.

I was hoping it ended 7pm Saturday.

That way when LF7 rushes for 200yds against Bama while securing victory for LSU, they'll just give him the hiesman after the game.

But seriously, very cool, I hope it goes for a shite ton.

Fournette jersey could end up being worth $100K min. I'm going to say that the final bid will be close to this number. I will go as high as $20K personally. We'll see. Should be interesting

Just think about it, if Fournette goes on to be the next great NFL RB how valuable would a college game worn jersey from his Hiesman season be worth? Especially in a day and age where college gear is not available for purchase. At worst you would end up with a jersey from one of the all time tiger greats. At best you would have a piece of football history.

It will because it won't be your Average Joe that buys it. I suspect a local business or large firm with LSU ties will get it. The bidding will drive the price up, and it will easily double or triple that number. Typically the starting bid price is chosen very carefully to not be too high. So it seems logical that the price could jump several thousand dollars in the first few bids alone.

I wish they would have started this auction after the Bama game. Now LF will be distracted with checking how high the bidding is through out the day and not completely focused.

no, he knows he will need to do well vs Alabama to skyrocket the price. :)

I think it goes for 50k+. Like others have said I can see a company or an extremely wealthy individual dropping big money on it. It's also for a great relief cause.
