Fournette/Guice without a doubt. Also, they are going to get better.

Why do we have to pick? We've had both.

This... Cannon/ Taylor is pretty incredible and damn near untouchable. But in modern football, I'll take LF7/ Guice just because both are legitimate 3 down backs and home run threats every play.

I would take LF7/Guice (mainly because I would want LF7); however, I would give Faulk/Collins serious consideration. Not because of Collins, but because of Faulk. Not only was he a fantastic running back (he and Guice are probably in, or will be in, the same category), but he was also a punt returner, kick returner and great receiver.

Fournette hands down, first because of his ability. Second, because of his character. I don't think we will ever have to worry about off the field issues with him. Geaux Tigers and Geaux Fournette

Fun fact: Faulk and Collins played in one and one quarter games together. Collins was suspended, Faulk got hurt, Faulk came back for limited touches against Akron, Collins got hurt early in the first quarter against Vandy. He never played another down at LSU.

Collins had 23 carries in games Faulk actually played in. Against Akron, where Collins had 20 carries, Faulk had 6. It wasn't like they were some dynamic duo together that wore defenses out. It was like having them at different times.

He could have less carries and you would have known he was special. Anthony McFarland recently said he was the best back he's ever seen.

Such a waste. Oh well, God closes a door and he opens a window I guess.
