"Leonard Fournette faced 8+ defenders in the box on 58% of his carries today which led the NFL, per #NextGenStats

Still posted 100 yds/1 TD"

he'd probably be uncomfortable if there were any less than 8 men in the box, I'm not sure he's ever seen that in his life

And a terrible Oline.
Props to Fournette.

Yeah and it only gets tougher for him now that receiver Robinson went down. Hopefully they can somehow give him some help.

Well Jacksonville's best receiving threat did go down with a season ending knee tear. So he better get used to dealing with a stacked box.

He was playing a stout front 7 too. Those holes will get bigger.

I like that they involved him in the passing game too. Hugely underrated part of his game

Yep. Texans defense is legit. Bortles sucks and the jags o-line is not very good. So what LF did yesterday is pretty damn impressive.

LF needs a big time qb, and he will be a hall of famer. As soon as teams will not be able to sell out to stop the run, LF will be a monster fantasy player.

Robinson tore his knee up very early in the game. Fournette played almost the whole game yesterday without him

Did you see that thing where the QB takes the ball and kinda heaves it to the RB? I bet LF will be good at that.

And, those DBs and LBs were tugging at his ankles all game long.

That shite needs to stop, but that's how you stop him.

That terrible line allowed ZERO sacks to the Texans D. Wouldn't have known JJ watt was playing yesterday if they didn't honor him for the Harvey donations

Texans D obviously not as good as their hype. They got blown out by Jax.

LF7 is a stud. Hope they don't ruin his career by running him into the ground this season.

he's a running back. there are no restrictions to carries in his contract, or are there?.?

This is like the Chicago Bulls fans bitching along with Derrick Rose about how Tom Thibodau played him too much. Thibs has since moved on and is creating another contender in Minnesota. Meanwhile, Chicago has not returned to where they were.

The only Oline that sucked yesterday was the Texans. Jville line played legit yesterday.

The Jags only had 280 yards of total offense. Fournette had 44% of those yards. I'm guessing that's a very high number for a RB in today's NFL (especially in a win).
