Walking distance from Dinosaur BBQ. Looks like I have my Friday night planned already.

hopefully, some tailgating is possible there?

Yes, not as many fans tailgate from cuse as LSU but there will still be some in the parking lots and by the quad. The best areas would be in the lots right next to the dome IMO since it's right there. However, I'm not sure if that's preferred parking now or if you'll just have to get there early on gameday. In any case, I wouldn't worry

Albany is another option. 2:15 away from Cuse.

Any idea what section in the Carrier Dome will be the LSU section?

Very true, always forget it's not as far as I think it is. Granted I like the drive from the south, north, or west better than from the east in getting to cuse. I'll update the OP

ETA: It's $430 to fly into Albany, I'll see if it goes down but I don't have my hopes set high

Cuse Tiger (OP), I post seating charts for LSU road games each year of TD Ticket Exchange. If you get a Syracuse seating chart with visitor sections, please send link to

Goose11262@yahoo.com

Thanks!

I can't decide how I'm going to go though I am leaning toward driving

Amtrak is around 200 bucks and flights are 300

Amtrak is 9 hours due to a stop in NYC, flights are about an hour, and driving is 6 hours

I'll gladly send an email once I find it. When I was in the band there, the band sits in 108-109 and the visitor sections were to the left of that when looking at the field. So 109-110, 110-111, 111-112, and 112-113. It's tucked away in the corner of the syracuse endzone (not the orange endzone). Hopefully nothing has changed since I left that this helps

If any of you are casino/golf buffs, there's a place close to Syracuse called Turning Stone. This trip will be first visit there, but it's supposed to be pretty nice. I do believe it's reasonably close to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Turning Stone

It's about 40 min east of syracuse on 90. One January drove with 3 friends to gamble there, got in the car and there was a blizzard the entire way, lost all my money in 10 minutes, then had to drive back through the blizzard pissed

Cooperstown is about 1 hr 15 min from Turning Stone. I've been to the baseball hall of fame a few times, I'd say it's worth it for the baseball fans.
