Give it a rest, corndogs.

I love when our fans compare Brian Kelly to les miles. Remember when les miles inherited a Maserati while Kelly inherited a 93 Kia sedan?

In what world do some of you idiots fairly and equally compare professionals in their time and place? Lmao

I’m not saying Brian Kelly is above reproach. But we are in the toughest conference in the country with 39 scholarship players in January. Our starting running back was a walk on, and our quarterback left his previous school because the locker room hated him.

Polian, Kelly, and denbrock deserve shite but amazed I have heard hardly anyone give the guys at least one fricking year to fix this

And yes, we aren’t good. Agreed.

Okay? No shite. Ed orgeron left us a dumpster fire. Tennessee is actually pretty damn good.

Agree 100%. It’s time to step back and rationally look at the big picture…which is a lot to ask on here. This year had 6-8 wins written all over it from day one. Did everyone forget the last two years? LSU had a culture problem, talent problem, and leadership problem. A mountain that tall will take a bit to climb.

I’m honestly surprised how good Tennessee is. I thought we’d scare the shite out of them, sure. We could have, had we not made every mistake imaginable in the first half.

It was also an eye opener at how much more talented Tennessee is next to us. Our defense looks really small next to their physical receivers.

Why is that Brian Kelly’s fault? The dude builds programs and our fans are squealing over not overhauling a pathetic roster in 9 months lol absolute insanity

False narrative. We were 5th in talent composite in 2021.

Hahahaha

You think this roster is talented? Don’t we have two Lafayette transfers starting? A walk on running back as our go to? A quarterback who was run out of Arizona state because he was a locker room poison?

So by your logic we should be a top 5 team? Hahah

Special teams sucking and the offensive scheme and execution being a joke have very little to with the mess O left us in.

What Kelly is putting out there on offense via Denbrock and daniels is a huge red flag, as is his refusal to admit that he’s made a mistake and there are systemic problems with his approach. It’s very Les. Very Jimbo. If you don’t see that your head is in the sand.

Devising a good offense in cfb is not a years long process for good offensive minds. Look at what Riley, Kiffin, Heupel, Dykes, Kiffin, Sark, Briles do everywhere they go. It can take awhile for these offenses to hit final form, but you see good execution and good scheming from day one. It’s shocking to me that with 10 years of Les more of you are trying to downplay this.

"Dude builds programs." Ha! Dude nearly always loses the big games. Fact is, much of his recent success came from constructing cakewalk schedules and a few years of USC being awful. How'd he fare against Saban?

Les miles wiped his arse with nfl talented and called terrible plays

Amazing you could equate this current team with what that idiot had at his disposal

If it were year three and Brian Kelly was calling this, dude. I’d call for his head. But it’s year one and our roster isn’t honestly good at all

Not going to defend Polian. He inherited a mess but I agree that this is beyond terrible

Again if we had a clear plan or identity on offense but talent just wasn’t quite there I’d agree with you…but what’s happening right now is a schematic and offensive identity disconnect. As well as an inability to coach players to execute well.

Cool. How did Weis, Willingham, and Davie fare?

About the same as damn near every other coach.

Kelly may or may not fall on his face in BR. His teams have fought more this year the O’s did in the last two. You want to shite on him for what he did at ND (even though it was as good as anybody since Holtz) while ignoring his success at Cincy and prior.

QB is the most important position on the field, and our situation is as bad as anybody in the conference. We don’t have a stud RB, and don’t have an O-line that is top tier.

The kids are tough, and they fight, and I’ll support them. But from a talent perspective, we lack in some important areas.

1. Kelly ran off our best CB
2. Our best back is hurt, but Denbrock (Kelly’s guy) isn’t calling any creative runs
3. Kelly brought in JD and ran off MB

I love your use of “running off”

Myles Brennan would have been a vegetable after today Lmao

Elias ricks? The dude who tried to extort lsu like boutte and is eating shite?

I somewhat agree on the run calls but it’s also a byproduct of our ridiculous dysfunction and lack of talent at every unit

The worst decision(and there were a couple) Kelly made today in my opinion is not putting one of the other quarterbacks in the game in a friendly environment when it was obvious that there would be no comeback. Why not get one of the other quarterbacks game reps when there’s nothing to lose.

What if Daniels goes down? You going to throw Nuss out there @Fla, ole miss, Bama, @Arky and @A&M to break him in when the environments aren’t so friendly having no meaningful game reps to speak of?

Amount of players has nothing to do with not playing Harold Pekins. It has nothing to do with how atrocious we are in special teams. It has nothing to do with our lack of a passing game.

These are all direct coaching decisions. No one minds losing that game but getting 40 dropped on you and not playing your best defensive player?

Your telling me you felt good about the 4th and 10 at midfield?

It's not that we lost, It's how and why we lost.

Didn't Tennessee have a crazy mass exodus after Pruitt year before last?

Quickly someone tell Heupel to bench his best defensive player and start going for retarded fourth downs

My opinion- This is roster ridden ‘portal team’ with a bunch of guys looking for that Joe Burrow magic. But truth be told, Joe was a statistical outlier.

That said, I’m concerned with Coach Kelly and his staff. Obviously they are having issues but the way he was arguing with one of them (on national TV) was unprofessional. You praise in public and discipline behind closed doors.

It does appear the lack of a National Championship at Notre Dame during the 12 years he was there was more a result of his coaching, than the availability of quality players who can academically qualify for admission at ND.

Which one is doing it with a Jayden Daniels at QB?
