Again if we had a clear plan or identity on offense but talent just wasn’t quite there I’d agree with you…but what’s happening right now is a schematic and offensive identity disconnect. As well as an inability to coach players to execute well.

You’re looking at the result, and seeing it as the problem. The actual problem is the talent, overall. We have SOME pieces, but not enough, or at the right positions, yet. The coaches and the actual talent (see Campbell and Jones on OL) are doing the best they can with what they have. But you won’t see that result on the field until we get more guys like that…THROUGHOUT the roster.

Biggest problem here is Daniels having been brought in and brought in late and Daniels lack of arm talent.

Now Kelly has hitched his wagon, and this may have been pressure from above since we did not get an African- American coach as a faction wanted within the school and political establishment, the next best thing is an African American qb in this woke world no matter the cost.

Brennan should have been the qb this year and at least they could have tried to maximize the use of the team's biggest strength which was at the wide receiver position. Daniels seems to be a nice kid, but does not have the arm talent and decision-making ability to pass the ball effectively and the team has no running game outside of qb scrambles.

Everyone I know at Az State was glad he left. They thought he was a terrible qb and were glad to move on whether they win or lose more in the short term. They thought it was better for that team in the long run.

Give me one reason why Polian deserves one year to fix it? You think we don’t have enough talent to catch the football or cover kicks?

Who said we need 5 nfl OLinemen? Which QB is capable of running the “schemes” you listed? Which of those teams in year one had a better record than LSU does now?

Year one for those programs we’re building their team identity and often through some resilience during failures and losses as well as some successes.

It’s game six of year one. Yesterday was a total catastrophe of a game. Not a total catastrophe of a year or program.

Recruiting and experience is what will turn this program around and likely a new ST coach.

When they make over a million annually, they had better be doing the job right!

Chill out TigerNation. Brian Kelly is a great coach. Plus LSU has made the investments necessary for a championship SEC and NC.

It takes time and patience to rebuild a team. LSU will regain its footing and attain glory.

Brian Kelly et al can and will lead LSU Tigahs to victory

We have some Damn Good players ! Just because we lost doesn’t mean it’s the players. It takes time to get the right ones on the field. I think Tn game was just
a bad game plan. I think Kelly wants to win so bad he’s trying too many things. Team meeting with WRs what about meeting with running backs ? Daniels is overthinking along with Kelly. Thinking too much prevents an athlete from Playing ! Does Lou Tepper come to mind ? The Art of Linebacking ? Guys on field were trying to figure out what they were doing and play was 20 yards down the field . I don’t get to be the fly on the wall at meetings and practice but I hope some coaches get their asses kicked !

Congrats, Coach Kelly - good win over Bama.

Your successor just had a bigger win, in his 10th game as a head coach, than you've had in your entire career.
