Oh so it would be exactly like we have now, except I would be jumping up and down yelling yippee yippee.

You do whatever you have to save the program from rock bottom. As of today, this class is even worse. Cut your losses and get the new regime to begin building rapport. We will suffer in this class. We can't afford to keep losing games, losing fan support and interest. It can happen in a flash.

FIRING O would be a mark of brilliant leadership and inspiring courage!! It would save this yrs recruiting class, and keep top athletes from leaving LSU!!

You know what else would be disastrous? Keeping O.

Not firing him sooner than later is more disastrous.
1. Recruitment has already been hit
2. You miss out on offering great coaches
3. See 1 and 2

Ok. I’m not going to agree with you about everything you wrote.
I would agree firings alexander and Alleva would be where I start. Then get to that BOS that approved all of this. Weed out the thorns among them.

You can look at my post history leading up to the hiring, how much I despise O, etc.
without question, I despise the whole lot of them. That is putting it mildly.
With that said, we are losing recruits daily. It will be ok as soon as we get a new coach or when the bleeding stops - whichever comes first.
I do not want Alleva hiring him. So if it means we keep O until that happens, I’m good with that.
Make no mistake, he needs to GEAUX!

We've already reached rock bottom. Firing Yaw would only be beneficial to the program

I am afraid we are in for a rough stretch, but I just don't see firing people just to make the fans feel better as being the way out of that situation.

How about firing people just because they suck arse at their job?

Keeping O will be disastrous. He can’t run a program and he’s turning into a huge A-hole saying “that’s on me,” while in the same sentence he brushed that blame off of himself and onto his OC and his players.

It’s no wonder there’s no motivation from the team.

Perhaps, but it just can't be done right now. O = 12, Aranda & Canada = 7 combined, Alleva = 2. 21 just right there, plus what you're already paying to Miles and Jones, plus the costs of a new staff. No matter how bad it gets, it's just likely not happening.

O's already picked Canada as his scapegoat. He's gonna cause Canada, and possibly Aranda, to tell him to GFH and leave. It will only get worse from there. This pressure is bringing out the old O. It can't happen fast enough. He'll get his self run off.

I would have agreed with you in August, but at this point I'm not sure it would matter. I hoped for the best but I don't see it in O. He is what he is. The only thing different from his Ole Miss days are his shirt staying on and he quit drinking.

If they aren't going to fire O, they need to bring a former coach in to give him some direction.

He won't get fired anytime soon, but honestly I dont see how anyone could be optimistic right now about this team. Our lines let troy push them around. That alone is a tough fix. Players are giving up. We are one of the worst teams for penalties. Special teams are horrific. Coaches bickering behind the scenes.........that is all bad signs from the coaching staff and frankly are getting worse if anything.
