Nobody else wants Bobby Williams so he has to suffer under Saban.

Saban is the worst to work for. If he didn't win, no one would stay on his staff.

That being said, it's better for Lane to play out the season and sign with Ed the day after Bama wins the title.

Why would that be better?

If Kiffin leaves 'Bama to be an OC anywhere else, even if for more $$, then that's a signal that his relationship with Saban is much much worse than we believed.

Kiffen will end up as a head coach somewhere, probably Oregon.

Why would he work for someone with less of a resume?

I don't like Saban, at all! But he has to be that way with Kiffin. Kiffin might be the best schemer and QB coach out there, but he is a child and he must be treated as one. And I don't think O will treat him as one, and I see that being a problem. Like a "ncaa sanctions down the road" problem.

Hoping for Helfrich to that we have him here to start recruiting as early as this weekend.

Plus, he's a much better offensive coordinator than in Kiffin.

So basically we have to wait and see if he will get a Head coaching job on top of the Bama season to end?

What are the chances he's hired as a HC?

And people in Tuscaloosa expect him to leave.

Saban wanted to run him last year but they won the championship and he knew he'd have another QB that needed significant help through this year. With Hurts now developed he can move on.

The question is can Kiffin succeed without a heavy-handed HC keeping him in check.

I'm honestly surprised to hear Finebaum criticise Saban that directly.

Did you see SEC media days this summer?

What I would have given for some off camera footage.
