It was on College Football Sunday on the U.

Not sure if he has any information but he did say it with some confidence.

Edited: as the season goes on if they do not do something it may not be worth the move if LSU loses or Florida loses.

So all the info i have gathered, this is the only viable option, that way LSU doesnt lose a home game, and we dont have to have that brutal 3 game stretch.

Eta. This is the only option LSU should be willing to entertain. I wouldnt even listen to the 11/19 offer at all.

So they are going to make the wealthiest fan base in the sec reschedule the second biggest interstate rivalry in the sec - I doubt that

It's a great solution. We'll have to give up our bye week before Bama, but I think it's our only option. I'm sure Finebaum loves that we lose our bye week before Bama. He's probably on board with this.

It is the only fair and viable option and it will happen. Georgia has to give up their pre-rivalry game bye, but so does Florida. LSU also gives up it's pre-big game bye. The way I know this will happen is that it is the option that benefits Bama.

Why would we not consider playing it the 1st week of Dec if th outcome is material to both or either team being still in the hunt for their Division Championships? Then just move the SEC championship game back one week. The national exposure for the SEC would be a monumental being the only game that weekend. Plus weathered in FL that time of year is perfect.

Governor Edwards, F-King, and Aleva are putting out a unified message to the SEC and SEC presidents that LSU cant lose the home game we are broke, had a flood, and need the money. The amount in the Advocate this morning is 21 million total for the S Alabama game. I think that is kind of high, but might as well throw out a huge number with all the crap Florida pulled to not play this week.

It would be nice to also have a bye week before Bama but hasn't helped much in the past few years. If they reschedule Ufrick at that date it works for me.

Florida should have to forfeit. Why should UGA fans have to change flights and work schedules? They plan for this like everyone else .. Way in advance.

Florida should forfeit plain and simple.

The school with the wealthiest fan base is the one that created this whole mess. Let them eat it.

Then it needs to go into the books as a forfeit. Plain and simple.

I like that, but it requires more moving parts for the SEC. I think the last thing they want to do is have to move the SECCG. Plus aren't the bowl announcements the Monday after the Championships are played? I'm not sure about that, but curious.

Unfortunately our bye week hasn't helped us beat the gumps in awhile. My biggest issue with this florsux game is that it should never have been cancelled, not in hindsight, but in foresight.

Paul Finebaum simply likes to hear himself talk. He knows nothing.
