Your argument is invalid. 1 guy, and a DE, cant shut down an entire teams production for an entire game... what dont you get about that? Defenses work as a unit. Clowney wasnt disruptive because we had a great game offensively... Such a fallacy argument.

You aren't disrupting if a team is better on that day than they usually are. Sorry.

As a team, we were way better than they were. I completely agree.

Clowney though, an individual player, was pretty disruptive and had a good game. Not his fault his other teammates werent making plays.

Your arguing 1 guy vs an entire offenses productivity. Its a fallacy. Pointless.

Clowney looked like such a bitch during Hill's long TD run. Hill ran right by him and Clowney watched him go by.

in fairness it was a 6th yr senior against a true sophomore. It was a good performance by JD but lets not carried away.

But shouldn't it also be mentioned that Josh was coming off a season ending injury from 2011.

Dworaczyk did have a great game against South Carolina. I was amazed at how well he did in one-on-one situations against Clowney.

For the most part, he neutralized Clowney in the passing game, and in the running game, he was able to move Clowney off the line of scrimmage and create space for the backs quite often.

It's worth noting that Dworaczyk did receive a lot of help from La'el Collins, the TEs, and RBs in that game. Also, there were a lot of quick passes called, so there wasn't much of an opportunity for Clowney to rush the QB.

I wouldn't say josh dominated. it was more of a team effort.

Yeah, to me, dominated implies that JD physically manhandled Clowney. That wasn't the case. The play calling and blocking schemes really mitigated the impact that Clowney could have. With that said, Dworaczyk still had a great game.

Go back and watch the tape yourself... How come Clowney keeps making plays even when we're clearly avoiding him? I also remember Clowney not being the star of that game, but he affected almost every play when you see it again.

Dworaczyk was not only more physical, he also outsmarted and outhusteled him in every facet of the game.

Isn't it interesting that LSU found a way to control the Heisman trophy winner, the best running back in the SEC at the time (Lattimore), and next year's 1st pick?
