It was a 20 year old tradition.

You're obviously a woman since you are so adamant about fall weddings, and since you were oblivious to the fact the Arkansas game was going to be moved to Friday.

I hate weddings on Saturdays during football season. I will not attend unless I have to due to it being a close relative or very close friend and I will complain and whine about it. That's my right. I can't think of one I've actually had to attend. I don't know a soul who has scheduled a Fall wedding.

Some doodlehead scheduled a high school reunion for the night of the Ole Miss game. I'll probably skip it until after the game unless there's a TV there. It's homecoming, too.

Don't care what anyone else does or says.

Yea, except for those two years fairly recently that it was on Saturday. Which sidewalk are you a fan on?

I swear you guys just aren't reading. I have never said people need to feel a certain way about a wedding. Not once.

No, I'm not reading through 16 pages of this.

But hell, I'm not even telling you that disliking a fall wedding is the "right way" to feel about it.

I'm just telling you what IS.

Admins - Can this thread be deleted or anchored yet? I think I speak for most when I say we are tired of seeing this shitty thread continue to move to the top of the board because this hemorrhoid continues to argue like a little girl having her first period.

He NEVER has anything to contribute, but this is a next level display of having absolutely no life.

For the Iron Bowl. Then Saban cried and LSU was back on Friday. Nothing else was going to be put there.

That really makes you look like a dumbass.

And yet that was within the last 5 years, which means there was no guarantee it would be changed again. Keep trying.

Lunchbox is continuously the worst poster I've ever seen on any message forum on the internet. It never fails. Every thread.

Yea, it is the point. You're trying to take this to a new argument that I never made.

.Scheduling a Fall/early winter wedding in the outdoors/football-crazy south just isn't a popular decision with those who participate in those activities (which is the majority)...That's not an opinion as much as it is a fact.

That explains why there are thousands of weddings in South LA every year. Many of which with LSU themed groom cakes, or colors, etc. It is nothing more than your opinion.

You have no way to say an actual majority of people in south LA feel like you do. Link me one poll that isn't a thread from here and I'll believe you.

I doubt anyone cares enough to actually take a legit sample and study on the impact of Southern football on weddings

Just common sense from anyone who has lived in the South.

It makes you look dumber saying we've been doing it for 20 years when we haven't even done it the last 5.

I really think you'd be surprised. I think >50% of people would put a wedding over a college football game. I have nothing but all the weddings during fall to back me up on that though.

The only real thing I've learned in this thread is that there are men who don't think it's a bad idea. I honestly thought it was a common bonding between all men that women schedule fall wedding dates and it's just something everyone has to deal with.

also, you're dead on about the grumbling, no one* is ever* going to tell a bride to her face that it's bs, but everyone* is thinking or talking about it. or just outside huddled around smartphones*.

*This language is used to present a point about the majority of people I know, and therefore am inferencing about the majority of people. it is not a legal statement that I believe I am graced with the legal right to speak for everyone in the world and LNCHBOX can't use that argument AGAIN to try and invalidate my statement, nor any subsequent use of that statement.
